The Bison better be more capable than the previous generation Bison, it’s about $30,000 more in Canada!? You guys do great reviews, but it’s an $80,000 truck in Canada which, capable or not, is a lot of cash for many people and would only make sense for a hard core off-roader to own. You can buy a nicely equipped full size truck for that.

Blazer was bigger than bronco size wise, not talking the S10 blazer, but k5, the real blazer.

Andre, any recommendations on a Chevy dealer that knows about these trucks? AEV was absolutely no help answering any general questions about their parts, what's included or recommendations for a dealer. If I go to my local Chevy dealer and Johnny salesman runs up asking me how he can earn my business today and I ask about a skid plate and he asks me what that is....I'm gonna lose it....haha!

I think it's a much better and bigger truck, but I wouldn't get rid of my 2020 bison because it's got the excellent diesel motor. If the new truck would offer it with the diesel I would definitely order one.

I've had my Bison for about a month and they really made a special vehicle here. It's not just great offroad. I would have thought with those chunky tires that it would be deafening loud on pavement but it's surprisingly quiet. It's really a swiss army knife of trucks.

What diffs are they using in this vehicle? The Colorado ZR2 has been based heavily on the H3 over the years, I'm wondering if they beefed up the diffs to handle that tire size better.

I still have my 19 2.8l Bison thing is a beast.

Why they still went with the leaf spring is unideal for an off-roading condition. Coil spring would've been the better choice. This truck definitely has the potential for serious off-roading. Hope GM swap out the leaf spring to a coil spring. Overall, it has the proper look and features. More power and torque could be better improve. The V6 just seems like the proper engine for this midsize truck.

Does the transfer case has a locking function ?

I LOVED my S10 ZR2 and have wanted a Colorado ZR2 since they came out. I test drove a '24 Canyon AT4X and was VERY disappointed by the power. I'm sure a tune could fix that, but my '08 Silverado 1500 with the 5.3 and 33×12.50's has gobs more power.

A little sand and rocks isn't a very good test.

That's an incredibly beautiful and capable truck. I saw one today at a dealership and was impressed with it.
