I have an issue with the dietary enforcement.

It’s one thing to say that you want the family to start eating healthy, but specifically enforcing veganism is not appropriate. Vegan does not necessarily mean healthy. Everyone’s body, activity and diet is different. Vegan isn’t even a diet, it’s an ideology and political/societal movement. That shouldn’t be forced on anyone.
