The gray inductive coil with 100 turns on in Balanced power mode. It is responsible for the battery maintenance, to remove the memory effect, and to enable 1% hibernation. Bad batteries are the cause of almost all failures. The coil also exists in the display back panel, that instructs the others to turn on in Bios mode. The coil also exists in phones, you have to access the power menu to enable using it. Probably Dos Box also turns it on, because the resolution is the same. Power banks also have this coil, it turns on when you don’t turn on the phone during charging. It recognizes that the phone is inductive, then the power bank’s coil start to become used. It requires a special Nokia cable or similar. For car batteries, ups does the same.

Very good explained. I have the same issue. Around one Mosfet i have some capacitors which are short. My next step is to remove the Mosfet and then i check again if the short still exists. If there is no short anymore i am sure the Mosfet is bad and solder a new one on the spot.
