Life on an aircraft carrier can have it's adrenaline moments as for the starting crews who brace themselves down to the deck in the hope of not being wiped off the deck by the gigantic thrust of the J-15s. Getting into the air within around 150 m for such a big Jet just looks so extremly powerful, but in actuality the missing catapult severly limits payload on takeoff i suspect. None of the J-15s had any sort of external payloads attached (though they have large internal fuel capacity, much more than comparable NATO Jets which for the most part are in fuel emergency after a few minutes in the air and afterburner use).

Liaoning are just Kuznetsov Class Aircraft Carrier retrofitted by Chinese military.

This is the first Chinese AC. Only to allow PLN to learn and gain Deep Ocean AC operating knowledge. Very soon it will have 2-3 home built carriers, and by 2035-40 it should be fielding close to what the US has with its new Ford class, dominating oceans. This is a VERY quick rate of progress. Massively impressive.
