Who even wants to be 90?
Ответитьi watched this in 2x speed
ОтветитьAh this is amazing! Thank you
ОтветитьI wasn't financial free until my 40’s and I’m still in my 40’s, bought my third house already, earn on a monthly through passive income, and got 4 out of 5 goals, just hope it encourages someone's that it doesn’t matter if you don’t have any of them right now, you can start TODAY regardless your age INVEST and change your future! Investing in the financial market is a grand choice I made.
ОтветитьGreat talk. Its funny that boomers were worried about video games doing this to kids but now they are actually the most engaging and social screen time you could use.
Gaming is way better then doom scrolling insta/ reddit/ FB etc. You are talking with friends and focusing on one thing for extended periods, adapting to unexpected things along the way and developing strategies to win.
My partner is my savior because she has gotten me to read for the first time in years. For years I never really read unless it was for uni. This has inspired me to read more and take time to smell the roses.
ОтветитьWhat a wonderful talk!
Thank you Dear!
Social media have been profited by FOMO and Stratosphere.
Plus: Algorithm is a kind of division (Mathematics), and that’s why people imbibed less worthy information through the day pass by.
Wow😊😊
ОтветитьThank god l'm am not like that at all and great video TEDx Talks :]
ОтветитьBut screen time also includes work on computer, no?
ОтветитьBrilliant presentation + brilliant idea = triggers heart touching and life changing thoughts

ОтветитьTimely!
ОтветитьThank you very much this video really motive me to change my habits.
ОтветитьThat's just blow my mind 🤯.
ОтветитьAmazing speech. Thank you so much
ОтветитьThis video gave me so much anxiety
Ответитьits dramatic, that people want childs with +30 amd not when they are junger and habe more energy.
ОтветитьThat’s why I do social media at work and not one free time
ОтветитьI must be quite lucky. After a bit of scrolling on twitter/Instagram, i get my dose of novelty and get bored. Must say, if there were no ads on social media/seardh engines, i think it would be quite difficult for customers to connect with relevant businesses with new products. I'm not convinced that people who are addicted to other people's lives will change their scrolling behaviour without ads.
Not all social media is bad. I have put some attention into who i do and don't follow, and am pleased with the results. Apart from LinkedIn, which i don't really use because it is a brag fest.
Basically, the narrative that social media platforms are the cause of all problems on the internet is simplistic, and a cheap shot by those who don't build anything at scale. I watched this talk on social media, and am commenting, and the diversion is acceptable for me.
It's a paradox that we watch this video on screen. Now, was this time well spent?
ОтветитьThere are so much topics to care about
ОтветитьSo much less time gets me anxiousl
ОтветитьHe looks handsome to girls
ОтветитьOk let me see what this topic is....
Ответитьhad 7 days over chrismas no celöphone, inhad so much time 😀
ОтветитьI got distracted while watching this
Ответитьgreat talk
ОтветитьExcellent talk, Dino Ambrosi!!!!
Simply excellent!!!!
👏👏👏👏👏
❤
ОтветитьThis chart is extremely misleading. Also, in the past, when social media didn't exist, people spent their time doing other things that "waste your time", such as playing board games, sports, watching tv, talking about pointless stuff for hours... etc. Not everyone wants to travel the world or do crazy things even if they pretend that's what they want. If you enjoy your time doing something, even if it's "sitting in front of a screen" then it's fine.
ОтветитьHi everyone! Just wanted to express my gratitude for all the support this video has received. It's already reached way more people than I ever imagined, and it has been amazing to read the comments/messages from those who have felt impacted by it.
I have a lot more to say about this topic, and I just uploaded a follow-up to this talk on my channel. Please give it a watch if you are looking for more tangible advice on building healthier tech habits!
That is why I never shower I am saving so much time guys
ОтветитьMakes so much more sense when read with Seneca’ s On the shortness of life.
ОтветитьIf you don’t pay for the product, you are the product. The Netflix documentary Social Dilemma told a few year back. I’m not perfect but I try to limit my consumption and engagement.
ОтветитьMy time is worth at least 77.5 Cad per hour.
Ответитьsorry I got distracted
ОтветитьI've uninstalled Insta, it saves my 4 hours daily
ОтветитьAnd then no one has ever seen that speaker😅 joking, it was hitting hard, but sobering
ОтветитьLol this video is doing what social media is doing to us
ОтветитьThanks for making me understand the value of time. A quality session indeed !
ОтветитьAmazing speech
