Oh those republican conservatives are gonna be PISSED! Boomers and GenX are always the most liberating generations raised by these cool classic movies!
ОтветитьOsgood deserves better, there I said it!
Ответитьosgood loves him for who he is <3
ОтветитьJack Lemmon, what a genius. I mean, the scene is beautifully written and directed, all of the actors were at the top of their form, but Lemmon, off the charts. His eyebrows deserved a special Oscar.
ОтветитьOsgood and Daphne are the best couple in this 😊
ОтветитьOne day, I hope I hear that from my lover. Haha.
ОтветитьШедевральний фильм
Ответить"We can have it altered" was such a subtle line that I didn't get before when I was younger. I love this movie!
ОтветитьThey saved the best line for last!
ОтветитьIll have it altered! Ha ha!
ОтветитьI just recognized their love motif hidden in the music
ОтветитьNo one will ever be or has been able to top that closing line in cinema history. Joe E. Brown's delivery of it, Jack Lemon's reaction to it the musical coda that buttons it. Sheer perfection in every sense.
ОтветитьPoor dumb Sugar. She ends up with Joe, who is an incredible louse. I think they're getting back together is supposed to be a "happy ending" for them both, but I
shudder to think what her life with him would be like.
a happy and wholesome ending
ОтветитьSo I guess this was made into a musical last year, and in that version Jack's character comes out as nonbinary and Osgood is MLM. Good for them.
ОтветитьGotta love Osgood
ОтветитьHow come people no longer talk like this i would love to talk like this "Socks squeezed of toothpaste" lol
ОтветитьThis is my second favorite line behind When Harry met Sally
Ответитьthe favroite PAN guy-
ОтветитьNice to see that a movie from 1959 proves that the "woke" movement is not something that is runing modern media... Modern media is ruining itself
ОтветитьI'm noticing a lot of people are coming back to this clip every now and then!! I would highly suggest watching the recent musical version of it on broadway! Even if you cannot do that, I highly suggest listening to the music!
ОтветитьThe movie: great
The musical: great
The line: great
And it ends just like that
Best film ending ever in my opinion
what a brilliant movie. I'd like to thank my film teacher for introducing me to this masterpiece!
ОтветитьI still don't get what's wrong with being a saxophone player or living with one.
ОтветитьBrilliant! :D
ОтветитьJoe proved that he still had comic timing even at almost 70.
Ответитьlove it
ОтветитьHOLY CRAP HE LIVED WITH A SAXOPHONE PLAYER???? BIGGEST PLOT TWIST EVER
Ответить“YOU DONT UNDERSTAND OSGOOD! I’m a man.”
“Well, nobody’s perfect!”
I love this sm
You do know that a guy in a wome dress right?
Well nobody's perfect.
He was good in Days of Wine and Roses also.
Ответить[Speech 100] Well, nobody's perfect.
ОтветитьNot woke, so never got broke, because this ending is very meaningul for its age :)
ОтветитьFunny!!!! Classic ending line. And Lemon, the original ‘Tootsie’.
Ответить🤩😍🥰👍💯
ОтветитьThey did it before discord. Based
ОтветитьI didn’t realize this was the end lol!
ОтветитьThis scene was ahead of its time.
ОтветитьHaze code who? Never heard of her
ОтветитьI'm 27 and I love this movie so much ❤ I hope younger people love this too...❤
ОтветитьThey figured out in 1959 what some people still can't figure out today.
ОтветитьIn my headcanon they went ahead and somehow got married anyway. He has money, he can pay for any documents he wants to make it official.
And who could say no to such a lovely man who adores you unconditionally?
bisexual king
ОтветитьUNDERRATED: Tony really loves Sugar enough to try to chase her away so she'll find happiness.
ОтветитьBased
ОтветитьThis is the kind of undeterred attitude that'll get you ahead in life
ОтветитьOsgood drips pure, unadulterated rizz.
