You need to get a real coffee maker.

When it comes to plants, def try out the Madagascar lace plants, low tech enough for your tanks. And def try out red tiger lotus, different bucephelandra, piptospatha, lagenandra, furtadoa, homalomena, just cool aroids and such

Since you already realize leaving the mülk in there is beneficial, i recommend adding some dry hay straw in a few test tanks. The carbon:nitrogen ratio in straw is such that it generates fulvic and humid acids and also generate peroxides in the water, which have a whole array or chain effects. Check it out

Bro start experimenting with adding interesting probiotics to the tanks. LAB, PBB, stuff like that. Also, have you experimented with making your own DIY pituitary extract? You could do some experiments along those lines

I didn't realise this is how you bred your fish. It's a little sad and dissapointing to see. no substrate or plants. Seems so clinical and factory like. Puppy mills come to mind but for fish.

Hey there, I have a group of 20 fire tetras and one of them is pale and smaller in comparison. This one usually tries to stay separate from the rest and it's been at least a couple days since I saw him join in with the others for feeding time. It also flaps it's mouth noticeably more frequent than the others, (nearly continuously). The seller I purchased them from said that this can sometimes happen if they get bullied by some of the bigger/more aggressive males, and that sometimes one or a couple don't make it. Any insights? I feel horrible thinking I might have to remove and euthanize it.

I have a MASSIVE Venezuela Orange female that will usually lay Three separate clutches of around 400 eggs each clutch over a 7-10 day span every spring time on the East Coast USA. I harvested ONE clutch ONE time about 4 years ago and now have around 100 Venezuela Orange Cory's spread out throughout a dozen tanks.
Everytime she lays a new set of eggs usually the other fish will pick them off the glass. Every ounce an awhile one or two new babies will pop up out of the 1200 eggs. Out of all those Cory baby's that I have that are now full grown adults.......not a single one of them is as massive as her. She is still double the size of any of my other females. She is also the ONLY ONE that lays eggs out of the 100.....I'm 100% sure that I have females and males mixed together.....but for some reason when I do that water change that gets her to start spawning.....she is the only one that's laid eggs in this four year time span....

I've had her for 5 years and she was a full grown adult when I bought her.....she has to be 7-8 years old is my guess
