Today I’m going to share with you the five warning signs that you’re zinc deficient. About 75% of people in the world are deficient, so being deficient in zinc is very common.

The 5 warning signs you’re zinc deficient:
1.) If you get sick a lot or have immune system issues

3.) If you struggle with diarrhea or IBS
4.) Thinning hair
5.) Inflammatory skin issues like acne, eczema, dermatitis, psoriasis

One of the biggest factors in causing zinc deficiency is high levels of emotional stress. The second most common cause of zinc deficiency is over-exercise. The third most common reason your zinc deficient is if you’re pregnant or breastfeeding. Lastly, if you’re older, you may tend to have malabsorption, which causes a zinc deficiency.

In order to get more zinc in your diet, you need to consume more zinc-rich foods. The top 5 zinc-rich foods are pumpkin seeds, oysters, grass-fed beef, sprouted nuts and seeds, and peas. Pumpkin seeds only contain 2mg of zinc per 1/4 cup plus they have phytic acid which blocks zinc absorption the rdi for men is around 11 mg

So i was low in zinc , but had been taking it . Then my copper showed very low . So if your taking taking zinc make sure your copper is at a right level .

I learned when you take a zinc supplement, you should take a copper supplement with it. Because taking a zinc supplement can cause you to have a copper deficiency.

I do over workout - 3 1/2 hours at the gym 4 times a week. Is that excessive? I do eat nuts and pumpkin seeds daily mixed into oats for breakfast. Should I take a zinc supplement?

I eat 1 to 2 tablespoons of pumpkin seeds daily on my oatmeal, yogurt, or cereal. Also chia, flax, and hemp seeds.

Zinc is for growth and healing. Why do teens suffer with acne? They need extra zinc and vitamin A. Adults need zinc and E for sexual functioning. I take 50mg/day with a meal to prevent stomach upset. Zinc plus a Super B vitamin pill covers most of the bases.

You're clueless!

The only things you mentioned that are accurate - grass fed beef and fermented foods, raw dairy. There's so much more..

Nuts and seeds are toxic and should not be consumed. They are seeds and seeds aren't healthy for us despite the controversy. They are quite toxic.
Chia seeds, almonds, and most nuts and seeds are not fit for human consumption.

Do the research before you post a video.

I'll stick to eating grass fed meats, fish, raw dairy..
I've reversed type 2 diabetes, high blood pressure and dropped 125 pounds on the carnivore diet.

I am zinc deficiency, I have acne, allergies, and bad skin. If only the doctors that prescribed me acne medication had instead told me about zinc deficiency, then id be healthier and wouldn't have a damaged gut microbiome and acne scars 😢

If your nails won't grow grirs, go out and and and get some {Hair Skin and Nails} from the chemist, it has zinc them. They're cheap enough and they work.

Hey thank you for this information you are always on point. I am Iron and zinc deficient I currently have skin issues, I was healing my leaky gut from 2 years ago that caused a psoriasis like outbreak all over my body. I'm not sure if my leaky got is completely healed yet because I do know that is important for me to be able to observe my nutrients. I just had a baby boy and I am breastfeeding so I am eating for 2. My question is: Is it safe to take a probiotic while breastfeeding? There are a few very important factors but I strongly need zinc and iron for my baby and I. I will for sure implement the foods listed here but would love to take a probiotic by Dr Josh Axe if I can.

that mean adult and children that suffer from eczema can become better with daily intake of zinc. which would mean that the copper in the body is too high.

I am surprised you are recommended nuts and seeds for zinc. They are high in antinutrients and gives poor utiliziation. Zinc found in red meat, poultry, and seafood such as oysters and lobster on the other hand is better absorbed and used in our bodies.

Pumpkin seeds can be blended into a dressing/soup base or coffegrinded and rolled into balls with a little water(salty ones are even tastier than ones with honey)

Stress that is high cortisol levels and high insulin levels will inhibit absorption of zinc. Zinc is a key nutrient required to maintain the Thymus gland which programs the T cells for the immune system.
