The bond should have been higher than $50,000. Especially, Once he took a shot at the cop. If , He didn't care about shooting at the officer. He definitely won't give a second thought on shooting a civilian. The sentence should have been 10 to 15 years . But not life . Wth his mental state he probably would have served even longer sentence by not following the rules in prison . Plus, He told the television reporters that he wished he would had killed the cop . He just wanted to return the jail.

I would never be that forgiving if I were a judge. And I'm only mentioning that because that judge considered setting a bond for that thug.
