ОтветитьSoccer isn't an aerobic sport, it's anaerobic. So short sprints say on an assault bike, treadmill or track are better than longer runs. There's a place for longer runs but should only account for 20% of conditioning whereas anaerobic work should be 80%. Although the hill sprints are a great option, oftentimes it's best to work on conditioning with the ball dribbling around cones to kill 2 birds with one stone.

Ответитьagain this is specific to on and off season. This would mainly be off season as there’s a lot of timed runs but as an athlete who plays soccer make sure your split is spot on and you stick to it and add anything that will help you that day of training, whether it be Monday : strength and power, Tuesday: upper body French contrast, Wednesday: speed and agility! If there’s stuff you can add, add it in 👌🏼 don’t make your sessions extremely long or too short. A proper athletic warm up and main workout and cool down should take roughly 1.5 hour - if done correctly as athletic warm up can take around 20 minutes to complete. Main workout 45mins, cool down takes 15mins

ОтветитьCrazy I see this a day before my tryouts. Tomorrow I got the first day of tryouts and I got to run 2 miles in under 14 minutes. With the training I have done this summer I think I got it but I don’t have the pace down or anything like that at all. If anyone got tips let me know. Also what do I do if I get a stitch while I’m running the two miles.

Instead of jogging slowly for 60min play soccer for 60min. You get touches and functional conditioning

ОтветитьMy man thats not really the way to do it, maybe I would apply it in preseason if thats what u meant. Exercises and drills should be with the ball and working on agility and explosivnes. Tempo should be in intervals not this. I have never done this and do not recommend anyone to be doing this unless its preseason. Hill sprints are good 👍

Ответитьas someone who used to run on tracks. do not, run on grass, do your knees a favour. i tore my acl. never been the same player (just mentally scared). bike long distance, do sprints down the length of the field, jog through the breadths. do this for ten rounds (or as many as you can. GLHF.
