The topics it touched are quite important in India and the reason why we all loved it , was that it's light handed not preachy. That's why we are ok with it's nomination as it has an Indian heart. More importantly it didn't demonize men but showed that most actually do the right thing

I know it wasn't popular, but a Telugu language movie released this year, called "Gaami" . It should've been sent to the Oscars with great promotions.

I enjoyed the movie and it's pleasant and charming moments. The message was justified to the need. But the only thing that annoyed me was watching it as an Oscar submitted movie, as the movie didn't feel that way.

Why dont you do decimal ratings such as 7.2 or 7.8? I love your reviews, but just curious 😀

Ravi kishan is awesome, coming from bhojpuri film industry, one dialogue of his is very famous historically in the mainstream. Some days ago i was listening to his voice in Thums Up ad about independence day, he has his own original voice filled with his personality and its very versatile

As I love movie reviews on this channel, I watched it and enjoyed too! But, because I haven’t seen the movie, I was just trying to find out the story, which I couldn’t get, even after watching the reviews twice! Then, when searched online, I got some ideas! Still, I’m confused if it’s about woman empowerment or oppression, because she still has to cover her face to the extent that her husband fails to identify that it was somebody else! I think a girl would never have veil in front of her husband, even a century ago. Sorry, not an Oscar film.

May be you would like Dhobi Ghat better. Nothing mainstream about it. Debut film of the director and from the Aamir Khan Productions stable.

I loved this movie a lot. It reminded me so much of old Hrishikesh Mukherjee films especially Jaya's track of going to a broken home and changing everyone's life over there reminded me of Bawarchi.

Can you also review Amaran(2024), its a biopic about a Indian Tamil soldier Mukund Vardarajan and Sivakarthikeyan plays the role of that soldier and is getting great and fantastic reviews. Its a biopic movie that is grounded and has realistic tone.
