Great show I wish I caught it earlier
ОтветитьGreat cast, El Synth Samurai. We appricciate your work, brother.
Ответитьgreat you caught this interview on the channel Samurai... ! Synthpunk is missed ... grab me a synthesizer ! between the pro3 and minmoog2022 i chose a cheap vintage minimoog... it's sexyer than a poly d, model d, yamaha side cars lol, than a Polybrute 12, than the behringer Moogs d-fam etc
Ответитьisn't it marketing... they tease.... to see the synth brings dopamine to people... it's enough to keep them high and waiting ! 😆The muse will be their in 1 year
ОтветитьI get the impression moog think they are above talking to people. All this stuff with boutique hotels and private showings at Super Booth bringing in Lisa Bella Donna meanwhile a complete inability to interact with potential customers on any level. It's as if they are afraid of the comment section or something, and the longer it goes on the worse that kind of feedback loop gets. They are alienating people at this point, even appearing hostile to sales. It's totally weird their whole vibe.
ОтветитьWould be a shame to see Moog fail, but you make great points.
Another explanation could be… M&R are extremely challenging, and they are simply struggling to integrate internal teams, processes, and technologies.
❤Moar Synth Punk❤ MOOOAR!
ОтветитьI think inMusic will kill Moog operations in the US and all production will go to Asia. R&D will probably go to UK integrated with R&D of some other of their companies.
ОтветитьNice to see he is doing good. Great show. PAMS!!!!
ОтветитьPresented here is yet another Samurai vs Synth Punk can't-stop-watching video presentation . Wonderful stuff! Synth Punk! Stay just the way you are in these videos with the Samurai! 👍👍
ОтветитьGarrison was awesome
ОтветитьHmmm, it does make me wonder. If anything, it seems like they are very disorganized. They don’t have control over product release?
This is some weirdness. And I don’t
See how it would profit them to buy Moog and let the name go to trash since I doubt iMusic well benefit.
This like a slow gutting.
Moog as a company seemed to always lack in grasping the larger market is affordable products. Korg has really held their own as a company.
What a great show TY ❤
ОтветитьEnergy Dome looks like you took it right outta the dishwasher. Very shiny! I think you put some Turtle Wax on it too! Did you know that if you double tap on this comment, it likes it?
ОтветитьMeh leaks happen this isn’t that unusual. I don’t think it’s anything to trip out about. The Labyrinth has been developed for years and the official rollout is coming very soon. Moog is fine and the new products will be dope as the old ones.

I’ll have to get another sub phatty out of respect for Amos. I really appreciated that guy. He was definitely like it seemed a type of Son in some sense to Bob. It is sad he’s no longer apart of it.
This episode really pumped me up and I got in the spaceship. Thank You.
ОтветитьREV2! Nice one for sure… Great talk guys! 🎉
ОтветитьRev 2 vs teo5. Now thats a tuff one 🧐
ОтветитьI’ll get the mopho x4 tomorrow and I think I’ll gonna love it
ОтветитьGreat video guys! Really enjoyed it. More please
🙂👍
This is the weirdest rollout of all time. I thought it was a troll.
Ответитьnothing lasts forever edit: a wang is early tuber. IMO he has no real talent except for grifting. he has too many toys and not enough skillz,
What if behringer picks up the old moog dev team and skunks moog with "neo-moog"?
no lake is the summit king. spend an hour on his channel to get the real picture of the summit
Ответитьvs mini is great and dm12 is deep. those are my idea of high value behr. i had white face odyssey. i sold it bercause i got sick of manual patching. i also am done with the redundancy of vintage and so are behr rehashes. old tech is all the same at the end of the day. i'm also thinking take5 and teo5 may be too close in performance and sounds to get both.
ОтветитьI really enjoy it when you two get together and chat. Great discussion!!!
ОтветитьA new synth every month, I guess I misunderstood those "Less is More" videos. 😀
ОтветитьIm a Pro 3 disciple! Synth punk is right! Thanks for the video!
ОтветитьGreat to see synth punk again, love you man, and we all know that when you get a Buchla Easel, it will be the best thing since a Mini Moog. The beauty of modular is its unrepeatability of sound, like life, when you try and recreate something it feels grey and sour and bland. The magic of now, and....and you feel the flow of electricity, which is what it's all about.
ОтветитьIs John’s channel gone again? Is there a new one? I keep losing his channel. Great stuff.
Ответитьlol - the bark legit looks like something from SOMA Synths
also gotta say i love this format - you are a great foil to synth punk and you drive the convo forward instead of too much ranting!
To compare the Subharmonicon with the Laborynth is nonsense - totally different
ОтветитьI dont know why you talk so much about current moog products but never had one in your hands
ОтветитьMoog just officially announced the release date on FB: July-11
ОтветитьThe Labrynthbis a bit underwhelming...based upon the videos. I was hoping for more. I'm still holding for the TEO 5.
Moog would do very well by themselves if they were to release affordable modules of their 5u system and even dip further into Eutorack space (beyond the Sound Studio). They should also release eurorack versions of the MoogerFooger.
I think Modular is no different than using any Monosynth that does not have presets
capability. You are still stuck with one sound unless you twist the knobs (same goes with the modular... albeit I also have patch cables to deal with!) Modular can be expensive....eventually, though any of the individual modules can be relatively inexpensive some can be very expensive. Things get expensive because little by little, the modules pile up. I think you should consider a Behringer System 55 and pair it with some effects. I think you'd really enjoy it. Sure, it is not as accessible as a TEO 5, but there are other positive and fun aspects about modular that can carry you away.
I'd love to be on a group show with you and the Kumite!
Missed it…
ОтветитьSynthpunk is a good Guy man
ОтветитьanaLOG
ОтветитьThe Edge is gritty and has midi.
The DFAM’s oscillators are rounder and deep. They are similar in design (obviously), but the sound is different.
I own both and have used them.
Love you guys. I like synth punk just chatting about synths and having a laugh, that’s good enough content for me!
ОтветитьSynthpunk doesn’t need to do fancy content.
ОтветитьBig thanx for sharing your thoughts🙏! Yeah, Subharmonicon is amazing synth but I’m thinking the labyrinth will be great too…for Moog is it a way into new sonic fields…..leaves east coast comes to the west coast….;-) I‘m nosy about the new one…! Best greetings from over the ocean…🖖👽
ОтветитьI spent 20 K on Eurorack the last 5 years basically to achieve what Labyrinth does. Wish it had been available back then. And recreating it with Eurorack modules would at least cost three times the price. Most important piece of gear of the decade for me. Still probably wont buy it with all the modular stuff i have.
Ответить!!! Labyrinth was NOT at superbooth 2024. Moog had an empty room (i mean very little people stayed or jammed there which is totally unlike moog booths) full of the spectravox vocoder connected to drummachines and mics that were all randomly hooked up by people who just passed by.. was totally random. They got saved by performances by good artists who played on their moog matriarch/mother etc setups. Was so lackluster compared to years ago. Since its Akai owned now, there were MPCs in the moog booth with totally random patches that sounded awful through a vocoder
oh also - akai didnt have a booth at all. They gave some mpcones and mpk minis to booths and thats it.
