“Upgrading” From Windows XP to Windows Neptune – Is It Possible?

Hey saw video recommend Neptune install first then xp etc. I'll see if I can get Neptune and test all Windows installations I currently have seven os now but I'll look into it for you. ❤

i tried this on VMware, but with server 2003, and crashed my entire virtual server, losing all my stuff, i tried the setup also, and it instant BSOD. (i used "windows neptune build 5111.iso" file btw)

Oddly enough I was able to "upgrade" to Neptune from XP (to which I updated from 98) this way on a Toshiba 480CDT. It just had a dead CD-ROM controller and I had no other options lol

try upgarding from netupe to xp XD

You could have used the original disk.. when it asks where you want to install windows ya tell it windows01 and ya end up with 2 installs a windows folder and a windows01 folder and at start up ya get to choose from either 1

I never knew you could change the Windows XP theme!

I wonder why Microsoft made the NT version higher, there's no way it was an oversight, there has to be a reason.
