Love envoi needs further was a warm up for March for her which makes Lossiemouth performance better than it looks

I love how no one dares to criticizes Ruby Walsh or Willie Mullins for saying she goes to the Mares hurdle & not the Champiom Hurdle . Cany you imagine if Mullins trained C. Hill & Henderson Lossiemouth, you would all be out in force saying typical Henderson afraid to take him on. Strange that !!

It's obvious the horse should be going Champion Hurdle. I can understand connections talking as they have done, but what I don't understand is literally anyone else supporting their decision. It's a simple question would the showpiece race on the first day of the showpiece Festival be better, and more interesting, if Lossiemouth was in the field? That's the only question anyone else needs to answer. If you are saying no that means you want less competitive racing. That's just plain daft. Sadly, I read something on the Racing Post site today where someone had obviously been wheeled out to argue the defence, it seemed purely for the sake of it. Yes, you can knock the quality of the opposition in behind, but it's only the same sort of opposition that Constitution Hill has made a career out of beating. This horse has been hyped to a staggering level on the basis of beating one decent hurdler. I don't think it is out of the question that in receipt of a handy weight allowance Lossiemouth is better than that one decent hurdler. The stuff about her having a rating to win the Mares' Hurdle is also nonsense as she has no form at the trip. You can't just assume she will be as good. She looks like a two-miler.
