just wondering what red dye are you using and what oils did you put on top? You've inspired me to make my own (not sure if I can do the neck so I might buy that bit but build the rest). Got to start somewhere and the finish is important to me. Yours looks stunning. Oh, and did you design yours on a computer program.... all help is appreciated. Cheers.

Really liked seeing the engineering lathe come into play to turn wood😂 Enjoyed the dark material sawdust being mixed in with the glue for the dowels too. Do you actually need a truss rod?

Dude your planing surfaces your gonna cut and refinish later, beautiful work honestly but you could have saved some time with out the useless planing in the beginning save that for the finish work

You know a lot more about this than I do so forgive my questioning, but wouldn't the neck and headstock be more structurally stable if it was a single piece of wood, as opposed to glueing them together?

Why hand plane I your gonna put it thru a machine? Was it too tall or is there something I just don't know. Serious question. I was originally thinking there's no way I could hand plan something perfectly level then I saw you run it thru the machine and I was on ok but why?

Why are you using so much resources and time to create this project, yet not desinging the body properly?
