that teelings costs 4x as much as the japanese whiskey, this has been the trend of the rounds just an fyi. This was such a biased review. they're basing it off of import costs to ireland possibly which seems to be around 100% off their statements of price.

Yoichi is now $65-70 in my area. Absolute steal at that price. They also have Teeling 32 and 33 at a nearby shop... for $3k and $3.3k respectively. For a 30+ year old whiskey that's fair enough but way outside my budget.

Love the content just hope next time they match the aging years, because it would be hard to find a whiskey aged 5-7 years that would beat a whiskey aged 24 years on aroma, and taste

Ive been following this channel in a while and loved it, but next time you have the tasting especially spirits please do have a glass of water on the side to cleanse your palate and move on to the other so the first one you have won’t affect the taste.

At least put the Irish against an equivalently aged and distiller caliber. Yoichi was the only single malt from Japan on display and it was No age statement vs a 24 YO.

Drinking Nikka From The Barrel as I watch this. Probably one of the best daily drinking whiskeys I've ever had. But none of these whiskeys in the comparison suck. I'm happy drinking all of them.

I love how they are given clear shot glasses and just proceed to sip at it instead of knocking it back like you're meant to. I think there are many Irish watching this video very closely judging the lads lol great video would love more diversity in the people though feel like it's very much the same people every video. Why not bring in one of the producers or someone from the set to come in an knock a few back with the lads?

it's unfortunate that they didn't put up the yamazaki or the hibiki in this episode...those 2 are world class.

Was really hoping to see a bottle of Hakushu, Hibiki, or Yamazaki. Yoichi is kind of known as a cheap tier substitute because all of the main whiskeys have major markups.
