Loving this content. ❤️🤘🏆
ОтветитьJust bought myself a K100 today after this series being my daily viewing for months. Going to be doing something very similar, wish me luck!
ОтветитьI love how they did turn signal switches it's crazy good solution
ОтветитьBuy it in Queens?
Ответитьso if you tear it down to get it in the back yard and rebuild it won't you have to do the same to get it back out?
ОтветитьThat was a great watch. You're quite good at this. I'm also in BK and I'm looking at a K100 for the same purpose. I'd love to chat with you about it.
ОтветитьOh you made me Laugh man. Wanted one back way back when. Bought a 62 duo-glide (Pan head) in 84' instead. Thanks for the laughs slick.
Oh and I did the same thing with it.. Took it all apart down to the bare frame and carried it up stairs to my second floor apartment to clean and rebuild it. Still have it.
That intro bro.... 🤟🤟🤟🤟
ОтветитьI love this intro so much.
ОтветитьYou are a talented man. I have a question. I haven't ridden in 20yrs.. I want to build a K100. the build will not be a problem. The last two bikes I owned were 1995 Honda cb1000.."the big One" and a modified Yamaha Vmax.. The Vmax was absolutely stupid in a straight line. At 5'10" 170lbs.. I could make those bikes do things. How do you feel about the handling and power of the bike now that you finished the build. Thanks.
ОтветитьWow, I am just watching this series. First video, not even two minutes in and holy crap the editing and videography is incredible. Great work! I had to pause to comment and subscribe. That intro tho!
ОтветитьDope editing
ОтветитьHey man ! Nice videos, did you know anything about bikes before doing such a project ! I’m find of bikes wanna start a project but besides riding them I know nothing about bikes, if you have any suggestions!
ОтветитьI am one minute into this video and can say that you have a super cool style!!! Great job!!!
ОтветитьI'm late but i love your videos man and how you tell a story. that shit dope.
ОтветитьYou are a very talented film maker.
ОтветитьYou probably thought i wouldn't actually go a re-watch all of this. You were WRONG. Damn fine video, and you are right the music was perfect.
ОтветитьDamn, inspired me sooo much, buyed myself a K100 RS 85 two weeks ago and try it may way.

Ответитьa k100 teardown AND rakim? dope.
ОтветитьGosh damn illustrator, it is a pain in the ass to get that bike through your house holyshit man, that must really suck having to do that bro Jesus I don't think I have ever seen a house walkway to the backyard so prone with obstacles, but congratulations on getting it back there brother!
ОтветитьThat bike just screams "make me sexy." scuffed head covers? check. Rusty pipes? check. An interesting engine to show off? fuckin check.

the journey almost over
ОтветитьI’ve been all about the flying brick for a very long time. It was in production a few years earlier but the first year it was imported to the states I think was 1985. I was 16, so of course this was MY era bike. I’ve had at least one since the 90s.
Here are some tips from an old brick-head:
I can tell you those aren’t stock pipes, stock one is square with a stupid heat shield that always rattles. Green headlights aren’t stock. The gauges always fail on these. The odometer is the first thing to go so that’s why they always have low miles.
The signal cancel button stops working when it gets the slightest corrosion. Look out when you clean it, that component is 25000 spring loaded pieces of pain in the ass and you need all of them.
You’re going to be tempted to ditch the center-stand when you do your build, don’t do it. That small bit of smoke you mentioned is amazingly small. They usually make a London fog when you start em up when they’re on the side stand for longer than a minute. And yeah, that short assed side stand is stock.
Oh, and the alternator is horrible at charging the battery. When you light it up, go ride for a while or park on a hill.
I love these bikes but they’re super quirky.
What an opening. That was incredibly interesting.
ОтветитьBest storyteller I heard in this type of video, Subbed.
ОтветитьWhat's the red light that was on than went off in the beginning of your vid?
ОтветитьYou inspired me to get one of those bikes and i did. The owner said it might have a fuel pump problem, because the bike doesn't start. 86 k100 with 32k mile. I'm not handy at all, but i'm gonna take this project on my self. When i'm done, we'll probably be the only few guys in brooklyn riding around on these bikes. lol
ОтветитьI am enjoying your channel, and kinda started this series backwards at episode 6. TBH, I really like the styling of the bike to start with. I like the 80s square lines style, and the original quarter fairing. Big gauges are easy to read. IMO in a few years, all the people are going to be thrilled when they find a bike with the original big clocks, and pegs and stuff like that. Making the pannniers easy to remove quickly will slick up the bike but they are nice to have as well. IMO the really nice custom work make the bike more usuable not just stylish. Delete weight, upgrade to LED, and solid state on any old electricals. Fuel injection would be sweet if you want to do hard core custom stuff.
I like what you've done with the bike so far. I think you need to make a seat that is actually comfortable, maybe some kinda quick release way to carry stuff that doesn't leave ugly brackets on the bike, and just dial in the tune and it's good.
New subscriber here from South Wales, UK 🏴. Really enjoyed this video, looking forward to watching the rest of the build 👍👍
ОтветитьJust got a K75. No immediate plans to Cafe it but I do love the style. Looking forward to keeping up on this. As a few others said, that intro edit is sick and your vibe while riding is great. I could watch this for hours. Haha. Super cool video
ОтветитьThe voice over and editing skills this man possesses makes me feel like I’m watching a movie!
ОтветитьD I R E. S T R A I T S
ОтветитьK100 = A bike you will eventually turn into a Cafe Racer.
ОтветитьNever seen a more cinematic motovlog. Hell YEAH
ОтветитьI don't think I've laughed this much at some comedies as I did at this video. My buddy directed me to your page cuz I also own a 1986 BMW K100RT. Welcome to the ridiculously over engineered world of the flying brick. I'll be subscribing.
Ответитьhow r u going to get the completed bike back out
ОтветитьOK vid, but why all the cussing? I'd had enough by 7 minutes.
ОтветитьLOVE the video format
Ответитьi just found your channel from your old video about how you love older bikes, and its crazy to see how much of an improvement in production there is. Keep is up man im for sure gonna tune in to the rest of this restoration
ОтветитьLove the old K bikes! My uncle has a pair of them, each with over 90k miles.
Bikes Made Weird!
Funny AF... BMW always did their own thing with bikes back then..
Got yourself a sub 👌🏼
K bikes are gentleman's bikes. Kind of a sporty touring thing, with BMW judging how much horsepower a gentleman needs. Looking at a '91 K-100 LT myself. Excellent video, found it while researching K bikes and their quirks. Very entertaining. Now subbed. Thanks for the relaxed distraction.
ОтветитьProbably easier to move house than try and move a BMW through it. 🤣
ОтветитьI have a question, how you going to get it out after you build it? I'm a FZ1 Owner, too.
Ответить
