Great idea to glaze it with wood glue. I would've wasted a ton of time using glazing paste instead, which would've cost more and needed several longer passes.

If I may offer a suggestion for the faucets that you made. I had made some a couple years ago, though I can't find them right now. I had the same problem with my handles where the straight pin's head was smaller that the opening on the handle and slid right through. By coincidence, there were a couple stray white seed beads so I used them. It worked (as you know) and they looked great in either the bathroom or kitchen (not sure which one). Then I had a 'Eureka! moment. For the second set I used a red and a blue bead. They look like the color coding for hot and cold water. The sink looks great, by the way. Did you make a commode /toilet and bathtub to match? Just subscribed to your channel and looking forward to seeing more of your tricks. If you will excuse me now, I have to find someone stup-SPECIAL enough to help me by holding things that need drilled, hammered, or even cut in half.

i am so in love with this porcelain look! miniature "toilet aisle at lowes" project here i come!!! In my real 1870 house, we have a lot of iron pipes used for little handrails on all of the outdoor stairs. These q-tip pipes are going to make an appearance as railings for sure! good stuff!
