I seen a couple your videos and as a pro carpenter ( finish) I really enjoy them! Nothing against DIY guys that build a cabinet half right half wrong or kinda in between I prefer supporting my trade with professional carpenters! You hv my vote as a go to cabinet guy on those jobs where I need to build a vanity or a pantry ect.,. Thanks buddy for the time!
Kings table custom finish carpentry!

I'd like to build this. Can you post the plan drawings?
ОтветитьHow are you fastening the nailers to the rear vertical brace?
This is a very good build. I'm basing my design on this. Hope it works out for me!
Which kind of hinges in diagonal corner without frontframe?
ОтветитьWas wondering what kind of bit were you using.
ОтветитьMakes the other you tube videos not worth watching you definitely no what your doing 👍thnx
ОтветитьThanks for making this video! I'm a DIY building one for my house, would it look weird to build one with different side depth? I have two different depths of cabinets (Left side 20" and the right side 12").
ОтветитьYour dog is cool. Dogs are the best. You make good looking cabinets. I cringe you don't use a push stick with your table saw. You could not react quick enough if the board were to grab or kick back and, boom, serious injury. Eye protection is also a must.
One additional comment, on the long vanity, that knot/flaw in the left false drawer front is all I could see. Did the clients say anything. Use another board, man.
Keep making videos please.
Man this video is awesome. Saving for future reference
ОтветитьDear Mr. Wise (if that's truly your real name!) Your corner cabinet video answered a bunch of questions I had/have. Thank you for being so generous with your knowledge. I think I will build this one first, then the run of wall cabinets on either side. It took you almost 24 minutes, so I figure in 3 days I should have something put together! Thanks again. I'm now subscribed, and looking forward to seeing more of your work.
ОтветитьWow. Professional & precise! Thanks
ОтветитьHow do u put in the shelfs on this cabinets? Nice job!
ОтветитьMr. CW, did you ever make/publish plans? I'm a DIY woodworker and kinda got lost of where to cut and what dimensions. I think the top and bottom were 23-1/2" x 23-1/4". Side panels 13" wide with a bevel. I think I caught the face frame was 15-1/2" wide at the widest part of the 22-1/2 deg bevel. I'm an old codger and used to sketches/paper plans and after watching your video 5 times I'm still not sure where to slice open my $150/panel plywood. Thx
ОтветитьThanks, learned so much and only 5 mins in... Still watching....
ОтветитьHow wide are your nailers for the top and bottom to mount the cabinet?
ОтветитьI am into the kitchen cabinets business, but buying or ready asamble is too expensive now, so l learn how to build thanks for the explanation very clear to understand.
ОтветитьNice work. Thank you
ОтветитьThank you for laying it out so well and quite frankly, dumbing it down 👍
ОтветитьI need to build a corner cabinet for a client, I've never done a corner cabinet and boy did you save my bacon. It's awesome seeing a video from someone that knows what they're doing.
ОтветитьI wish you had shown the adjustable shelf for the inside. Curious what that looked like and how you install it thru the small door opening
ОтветитьGreat job with the video. Your layout approach is similar to a channel by “Woodworking With Wes”
Keep up the good work!
Great video, I have a question I was hoping you could answer. Why do you measure 3/4 inch on your bottom for the wall and then come back out another 1/4 inch before you cut?
My sides or walls are 1/2 inch and face frame is 3/4. Would I need to still come out another 1/4 inch like you did in your video. This part is not well explained.
Also any possible way to show how you did the interior shelf after this cabinet was assembled?
Why do you leave the dead space on the back corner? I see people doing that, but wonder why not leave the 90 degree angle on both the top and bottom panels?
ОтветитьMakes me wish I had to patience to set up my saw etc to cut square ..I have the tools and small shop but can not cut square to save my life..and I watch these videos and it IS relatively "easy" to build cabinets but don't tell that to my nearly naked kitchen. After 5 years of having 2 small uppers and a sink base cabinet, I dream at night of what life with more cabinets would be like in my tiny mountain home because the current kitchen is ehh umm "campy" at best 😂. The plan you briefly showed with the 2 large side units and double set of lowers is exactly what I need. I Sir, am envious. Bravo.
ОтветитьSubscribed BTW
ОтветитьTight.. Well Done- thanks for taking the time to make the video. I hope it pays off for a long time
ОтветитьExcellence in execution - you sir are an inspiration in woodcraft and video production
ОтветитьPlease stand still
ОтветитьLove the video. I've seen to many corner cabs built using butt joints glue and nails. Love the datos would like to see you do the same build with face frame overhanging the box by eighth to quarter for next cabinet to but to it
Ответитьfour score and seven years ago.
ОтветитьGreat build and explanation, thank you
ОтветитьIS THAT 22-1/2 DEGREE MITRE STANDARD ON THE FACE AND SIDE FACE CUTS?? AND OF COURSE THE 45 DEGREES
ОтветитьWoman here. Had to watch this as i dream of doing thi.😊😂
ОтветитьThanks for this 🙏
ОтветитьJust recently found your channel & I’m really enjoying it. I know you mentioned that you send your cabinets out for finish, any way of getting some content of that process?
ОтветитьI found it!! Thank you.
Another question, I want to do my cabinet as a frameless cabinet, So
Do I still
Cut the sides at an angle?
Do you apply finish to your cabinets by spraying them or do you keep it as is?
ОтветитьExcellent video and beautiful work. Great to see how a pro builds them vs all of the other how to videos on YT. While you were using mega tools, I could see how I would do the same things with what I have. You covered a few nice tips and techniques that most don't. For example, showing how to get your mark, laying and clamping multiple peices and cutting all at once. And watching you lay out the corner measurements was a thing of beauty. Saved and subscribed.
ОтветитьExcellent very informative
ОтветитьLooks great. Do you by any chance have detailed plans for it?
ОтветитьGreat to learn from a real cabinet maker.
Thank You,
Thanks this information is very detailed. I'm New to wood working and now working on a 10 by 10 kitchen for my mom and i was having issues making this corner cabinet. glad i found you here.
ОтветитьTell me again how you fitting those shelves in there?
ОтветитьKeep the good work up thanks for your videos very good details on how to build You're the one of the best cabinet builders I saw anywhere.Thank you
ОтветитьIf you don't mind could you tell me how to get ahold of you at your cabinet shop Thank you
Ответитьnice video. What is the standard size of nail rails and why is the top wider?? Thanks. Also; isnt the standard uppeer cabinet depth 12inches instead of 13 inches?
ОтветитьThank you so much for posting. Best one upper corner cabinet video I've seen.
ОтветитьHave you made one of these as a lower cabinet with draws ?
ОтветитьWhy are your nailers visible on the inside?
ОтветитьThanks for that on point guide on how to manufacture that cabinet without breaking a sweat. Can you show us, how to get the shelves in please?
Ответить
