I followed Dr Disrespect's channel when he was still in triple-digit subscriber range and I was like 13 years old, but grew out of his content pretty quickly. He's been doing the same edgelord "persona" (spoiler alert: It's his real persona) for ~12 years, probably longer. Even as a younger teen I thought it was kinda cringe, but now I can't even listen to the guy talk without it grating on my ears lol. I think the surge in popularity he got livestreaming PUBG has just made his attitude even worse over the years. It's wild to me how such a one-trick pony who plays CoD good while wearing sunglasses and a fake moustache (and maybe some stilts) can have such an overinflated ego, but I'm quite looking forward to seeing him cope and seethe when this game inevitably shuts its servers down due to lack of interest.

I don't even think the Deadrop concept is a winning recipe to begin with. The Finals basically has the same principles, yet more casual and it's still wayyyy too sweaty. There's a decent player base right now, but I really doubt it'll ever become a big hit. Take that same concept and make it more hardcore (Deadrop limits respawns), and you've got a game that alienates a good chunk of gamers.

Nice of you to take the time to make this video and personally bash somebody that is trying to do something good for the industry. Maybe try making your primary focus on areas of the game that need improvement instead spewing insulting comments to people you have never met.

Deaddrop concepts is amazing .
But the backpack/healing system is awful. Also game fees terrible on controller and the movement pretty boring .
The game need to be more Athletic!!

This game is a flop already, Dr made a HUGE mistake integrating NFTs. I highly doubt it will ever fully release, if it does it will flop hard on release. Idk what the doc was thinking attaching his name/brand to this cash grab. Maybe 5+ years of development the game could have a shot, but they'd need to totally remove NFTs and actually provide a fun game. Sadly I have very little faith this will happen. With games like Greyzone Warfare and beautiful light on the horizon (plus some other huge potential titles coming 2025/this year) His game would have to be 10/10.
