How long for the freezer?

Im trying pits that didn’t fall and spent winter on the branch. I picked them middle of March and most of the shell had rotted away. Fingers crossed 🤞

Do you expect for your trees to bear good tasting fruit? We had pear trees take over 15 years and they still haven’t grown fruit that we want to eat (they’re small pears and bitter). Usually fruit trees are grafted.

Just wondering- instead of using the fridge, could I just put them out over winter? Is there a concern over animals eating it?
