I would like to take this moment to put aside our opinions about the phantom and raoul and just say how spectacular this movie is!!!

Team Edward vs Team Jacob implies there's a correct choice to be made. (Never thought about it but I guess I'd say Jacob? Since he doesn't beat the crap out of you.) Phantom of The Opera is so glorious and complicated: there isn't a "correct" or even "wrong" answer. So please, stop with the "team..." crap.

She sounds like a beautiful human songbird. She sings so well! oh and by the time i get idk im going to try to know all the words to the phantom of the opera. If possible. Every line to idk...all songs, speech etc.! i love it that much!

i love how christine looks very pretty, yet sorta simple,not that much overload of makeup, great dress etc etc

A pretty voice, but ANYONE can hear how she falters at the high notes!! I'm amazed no one else seems to hear it. I even said "Ouch" as her voice audibly cracks at one part.

she's a great singer but terrible actor, she just looks so uninteresting and unrealistic

Christie And Raoul, and the beautiful Phantom,, oh how i love this movie, i saw the second stage play Love Never Dies.. beautiful,,,, but would have loved to have seen the original Phantom.. how magical it must have been, i' m a big closet fan, of opera and plays, well ,. not so much a closet, because i just came out of one.. <3 <3 <3

la carlotta was horrible but christine sounds like an angel!!!!

Also considering she was only 17 or 18 when they made this movie, her performance is really impressive. :)

Nowhere near as good as the stage show in my opinion - her timing was dodgy at parts and I don't like her tone of voice for the part... that's just what I think though. Also, it could never have the same feel as the live show because it's a film, it's just a fact that you can't get the same thrill from a screen.

This movie deserved better reviews. Emmy Rossum's voice is absolutely amazing. The acting and the story was great too. You can just feel the music in your heart.
