Otto Wille Kuusinen is essentially the Finnish version of Vidkun Quisling. He formed a Soviet Finnish puppet government at Terijoki.
As such his name is forever branded as a traitor of Finland, which he very much was. Had the war gone different I have no doubt in my mind that a victorious Finnish government would've demanded that he gets transferred over to Finland for trial for treason and I don't think he would've gotten out of that alive.
Instead in real life he lived the rest of his life in the Soviet Union and his ashes were buried in the Kremlin Wall Necropolis.
