Why just "solving problems" doesn't work in Competitive Programming!

If I look up the solution, and understand it but I don't know any other way to implement a new solution, what should I do?

What if i can't even solve medium ones lol. Besides, sometimes i do solve medium problems with some basic methods as I'm a newbie, though my code is sooo shit that the submission program does not even understand it

I get it now, you solve problems to train yourself for contests. The contests are the thing, the problems help you win them.

tbh my codeforces rating has never increased and struggling

i think its stupid see Cm on CF they almost solved 900+ expert almost 600+ specialist almoat 300+u need to work hard buudy on cf sooving problems
