Aquaphor works wonders for me

My 91 yo mother has done this for my entire life…and probably most of her life. It was a minimal expense moisturizer treatment shared with her via her mother…think Depression Era. The idea is to hold moisture in the skin. So easy…clean the skin and while it is still damp with clear, clean water…pat on Vaseline. Her skin still holds a vibrance and mistaken for someone 10 to 15 years younger. I have used this technique and have been complemented on my complexion for all of my adult life

So glad I watched this video when I did! I just started using tretinoin 2 times a week, and it has been making my skin dry, red, flaky, and patchy. So, I figured I should put vaseline over my skin (after the tretinoin and the lotion) to help seal in the moisturizer, but I didn't realize it would increase the effectiveness of the retinoid. I'm about to go wash off my face so I don't wake up with burns on my face. Thank you!!
