Hi Karl, absolutely loved this video. I did the ring road solo in 2019 and experienced a lot of similar things to you, so this was an amazing trip down memory lane watching this film. It’s easily the best video I’ve seen of the Iceland ring road, your films are so well made. Bizarrely I too had the northern lights on my first night, when I stayed in Geyser. Also loved your Jordan video too… that’s my next trip and I’ll use a lot of your advice when I do it. Thanks for everything you do with your films, keep up the good work! 👍. Just before I go an idea for you… have you thought about visiting Svalbard? It’s a very unique place and think it would make for another interesting vid

A tip if you travel to Iceland without a tour and rent a car to drive yourself. Go the speed limit. I am from Texas where everyone drives 10-15 MPH over the speed limit, including police, and no one cares. I got 3 speeding violations in Iceland because they have speed monitoring cameras everywhere haha. It was nearly $300 in total!

I have a photography tip for you: get a windscreen for your microphone. There are even tiny ones that will stick over the mics on mobile phones, if that's what you're using.
