I was wondering though, how come when we say efharisto... we hear the letter F being used in that word, but otherwise when written in greek, the alphabet PHI isn't written... this was a bit confusing... :) can someone please explain how come? thank you

Hi! ive recently been trying to learn greek and ive noticed its not putting letters together to form a word like it is with english alphabet, and if you keep adding words to a sentence the whole sentence can change. could someone please help me understand it? it would be a huge help!

I noticed that Greek sentences/phrases are quite shorter than English.
