Gay’s performance was amazing. Good start from the blocks same with bolt but strides where diff in size. Take a look at the 50m mark, Gay was kinda coming through but his stride was small and bolts was big. At one point they both had the same feet touching the ground simultaneously the last 25m. Otherwise Usain Bolt was a machine!!!

There was a consistent habit of Bolt in a lot of his races to slow down before the finishing-line. He slowed down here too, and yet he went on to clock 9.58 seconds. Imagine, had he not slowed down 3-5 meters before the finishing-line and gave it that extra thrust near the end, he could have shaved off a few milliseconds from his now well-known world-record. 9.52 seconds probably?

Athletes sacrifice so much time to their profession but some miss out on medals because of cheats. Pretty lame commentary actually, first some passive aggressive little comment on Asafa Powell at the lineup.
Briefly mentioning the fact the world record has been broken, in the WC final, by the greatest sprinter of all time.
It was well observed that Gay also had a great race, but the 'pound for pound' comment was infantile. After which they discussed Powell's approach to a bronze race while someone else ran a WR that would last decades.
Seems like they didn't really appreciate this special moment to the fullest extent possible, to say it mildly.
