ОтветитьSecond! 😂
ОтветитьI thought u just advertised for Omnipod?
ОтветитьAre any of these glucagon medications being planned for these bi-hormonal pumps available in vials? Why do we have to wait for the two-hormone pumps to get this benefit?
ОтветитьMy Endo recommended that I get a pump and was really excited to show me the iLet but unfortunately it’s $3,000/ 3 month supply.
I’m going with Omnipod since it’s only ~$300/ 1 month.
What about the tubeless patch pump. Give us more information…
ОтветитьI love what you do to help us diabetics. I love your interviews with all the experts and inventors of different pumps and gadgets. I am a 71 years old diabetic. I learn a lot from you. Keep up the excellent work.
Ответить1). Your sponsor is Omnipod. And you show their competitor? 2). You mentioned getting your HA1C down to 6 or below on an iLet. Can/do ANY iLet users accomplish this? 3). "In Range" up to 180 is unacceptable. In that range, HA1C of 6 is impossible.
ОтветитьI got a good laugh when the sponsor for THIS episode on the iLet is Omnipod
ОтветитьI am currently on the Tandem T slim X2. With Dexcom G7 and control IQ. I have been pumping for 43 years and have been T1D for 64 years. I can’t wait to look into this pump. It really does lift some of the burden of having type one. I get to choose a new pump in July of this year, and I will definitely be looking at the iLet very seriously seriously.
ОтветитьThank you for sharing more info about the ILet. I didn’t know there was a newer model! I love my ILet and can’t imagine life without it. It’s dropped my A1c to goal level.
ОтветитьI have the iLet and LOVE the evolutionary ability the pump has to correct my BGs on its own. It's a game changer for a 49 year type 1 who is tired of all the work involved with programming Boluses and Basals. Once the glucose reservoir is approved and added, the iLet will perform like an actual artificial pancreas. Beta Bionics is on the cutting edge of insulin pump technology. I buy a new pump when it is a leap forward in treatment technology and the iLet delivers that leap forward.
Ответитьlove your videos
ОтветитьJustin.. i'm legally blind with Profound Contrast Impairment.. Why do these diabetes tech companies use an app with a white background and light grey/blue or light green font..? there isn't enough contrast to see the vital information.. these could have been set up with a black background with bold larger white font so someone with low vision could clearly see them.. They made the choice to make it look pretty, instead of functional for the legally blind.. So disappointed with their bad choices that don't give the low vision customer equal access to the info.
ОтветитьI’m a T2 on a sliding scale with Novolog TID. My endo is saying the iLet isn’t approved for T2. Is this currently true?
ОтветитьI HAVE THE TANDEM X2 INSULIN PUMP AND A DEXCOM G7 SENSOR AND MY LAST 3 A1c TESTS CAME BACK AS 5.8, 5.9 AND MY LAST ONE WAS 6.0 MY A1c HAS NEVER BEEN THAT GOOD IN OVER 30 YEARS BEING A T1D.
ОтветитьThis seems like an amazing pump really interested in this have you tried this pump yet Justin? if not are you going to? I love your videos they are so informative and nice to see how the technology has changed so so much in diabetes I have been a diabetic for 48 years and when I was diagnosed there were not even glucose meter's. Its all changing and the nice thing it's for the better making easier for people living with diabetes. so thanks to all the companies that develop these products and for you to show us what is out there. thank you and keep the videos coming!!
ОтветитьMike, keep going with your innovations at Beta Bionics. You guys are going to be rich AND you're making lives better for many diabetics.
ОтветитьI am currently using this pump it is a rocky start but once you power through the first few weeks of it adapting it really is amazing! I recommend this to anyone who has more of a routine however!
ОтветитьThanks Justin for yet another informative video. Did they mention anything about any occlusion detection for the current or future pumps? Also, irt Mike's comment on the tradeoff between the duration of the pump (3 vs 7 days) and the insulin capacity: I am not sure I am getting it. The pump works with canisters after all. The permanent unit could stay upto 7 days and when insulin is low, you could simply just put a new cartridge.
ОтветитьReally interesting insight into the company and their approach/goals. I wonder about the experience for those who are "brittle" and who currently find that their pump with programmed algorithms overcorrects (and doesn't stop correcting sooner leading to low). I hope we can hear more from those who have used this system for a while, once that time has passed. For someone who is at a "burn out" point in their diabetes management, I am amazed that I am even thinking about all of this... and want to hear more! Thanks again Justin for bringing this information to us and in the way that you do so.
ОтветитьGreat video! I' m excited to see where the beta bionics go.
ОтветитьStarted the iLet just a few weeks ago. It's the best system I've ever used. It's helped me live real life with less mental worry.
ОтветитьLideal est d'avoir un traitement. Je suis prete a payer une fortune pour dèbarasser mon enfant de ce fardeau (diabete)
ОтветитьI use the iLet and right now am 93% in range. I am really looking forward to the bi hormonal pump. Tubeless would be awesome! Very exciting.
Ответитьim not confterble with not being able to ajust my insulin doses this scaers me a lot 1 unit brings me dowen 91 points
ОтветитьCan the ilet pump handle up and downs for no reason at all . I'm a brittel type 1 i can eat a salad with vinaigrette dressing and 30 minutes later i can be at 300 blood suger crazy but that where I'm going
ОтветитьThis pump sounds amazing! I will, however, wait for a tubeless version. The current pump is too big and after using Omnipod for several years, I have gotten very spoiled. Very interesting video, thanks for the great presentation and valuable information 💜
ОтветитьI am currently on the tandem and I’m quite disappointed that they don’t have anything other than the Moby in the pipeline for the next couple of years. I’m interested in the BATA bionics, but I’m not sure I like the idea of having to change my insulin more often. I am very intrigued by the bihormonal system, is there any indication about when that might be available?
ОтветитьThe design. Is too big needs to be like Omnipod 5
ОтветитьHow much are they to Purchase In Europe do you Know?
Ответитьis there a way to tell this pump you're having a snack through your iPhone vs taking out your pump? (Loop allows you to bolus directly from your iPhone/Apple Watch). Can you share the cons for switching from Loop to Islet?
Ответитьis there a meal choice for "drinks/alcoholic"? since it could be important that the pump knows I'm drinking alcohol and could treat it differently?
ОтветитьMy A1c has never been better! Thanks Justin and Team Beta Bionics🥳
ОтветитьCan’t wait for that patch pump to come out too🥳🥳🥳
ОтветитьI'm very happy using the iLet. Trying to wait patiently for the integration of Eversense, remote boluses from my phone, and the inclusion of glucagon! Just because I can micromanage and crunch basal, ISF, and I:C numbers, I LOVE not having to while my own hormonal variables test the iLet's algorithms. I'm in range more than 80% over 90 days and I barely have to do anything. Thank you, BetaBionics!
ОтветитьHow close is this to iAPS?
ОтветитьWant!! After 51yrs I’ve had enough of numbers. When will it be available in the UK?
ОтветитьBut does it connect to Apple Health
ОтветитьIt’s over simplified to a fault . Really needs to be bihormonal and a little more flexibility built back in.
ОтветитьT1D exchange? Sounds great but....... Why no T2D exchange?
ОтветитьNot recommended for anyone with an existing HA1c under 7? Or will it MAINTAIN that level of control?
Ответить
