Maybe I’m missing something…your profit is 2175 when btc was at 35k. At that rate. You have mined 9 mo x 2175 = 19575 then you said you should break even in the next 12 mo from this vid. 12 mo and 9 mo ( 2175 x 2175 = 45.5 k ish) so how is this even close to break even. Likewise BTC is down 25% from previous highs of the video airing time. I dunno your math seems off…please tell me how I’m wrong. Sadly, if you buy the miners with BTC you will never break even. The miners ability to generate actual BTC (not a converted USD value) is outstripped by the difficulty increase and always has been since even back in the day of GPU mining. The only way you can win is by buying miners in cash as then massive future price increases corelate to massive profit increases. Sorry you wasted your money.

how do you calculate what your profits will be like after the 2024 halving? Do you just cut the profits you're making now in half? Or will the rewards for mining be automatically adjusted to keep profits consistent? How will miners be incentivized if profits are cut in half?

Don't forget when you need to pay the hosting/electricity fees every month, you probably need to pay that in dollars, so either you need cash on hand or you need to sell btc you've mined to pay those fees. That's the hard part in a bear market: if you don't have enough cash on hand and btc is too low in price to meet the costs, you need to sell your mining equipment. Nonetheless, great video!

Grea video. Bitcoin for sure is the future of finance and money. Not other currency comes close to Bitcoin properties and monetary policy. Best money always wins. Bitcoin will soon have 0.9% inflation in 2024. Crushing every other currency out there and yes your right people wont spend bitcoin, because why would you spend it, if it is the money with the best traits? Ask yourself if you have turkish lira, venzeulan peso and USD. Which one do you spend first? ofcourse the weakest currency. Simply put Bitcoin is the strongest currency ever made. Better swap in your paper money for some money backed by pure energy. its the future.

I used Antminers as well as GPU's back in the day and yes it was pretty good for a while when ETH was around $100 and BTC aaround $7K but since then you will never make youire money back , its better just to buy it when you can and hold and sell when you are in profit, mining ios $hit now absalute garbage . So bitcoin mining machines mostly lose values . When new tech comes out that can calculate the hash faster.. there are too many ifs on this. I’m pretty sure a new miner will be built and that makes your miners out of date and to the point they can’t compete. So far you are only losing money slower that. With your past investments. Machines are like cars or computers their capability gets old and slow and become useless within 5 years when new tech comes out.
