ОтветитьHere’s a fun fact: Pac-Man was actually created during a lunch break. As the story goes, Toru Iwatani, the creator of Pac-Man, came up with the character one day while getting a pizza during a lunch break. After seeing it with a slice removed, he noticed that the empty space resembled a mouth. He also took inspiration from the rounding of the Japanese symbol for a mouth, kuchi (口).
ОтветитьGood

ОтветитьOyunlarinizi oynamak istiyorum ama cok zor yapiyorsunuz ben cabuk sinirleniyorum bilgisayari kirarim diye oynuyamiyorum fazla
ОтветитьAmazing content! Thanks a lot! :D from Brazil :D
ОтветитьHe lives like a 12 year old, no wonder why Japanese birth rates are so low. Damn, the Japanese are sadly really weak these days. I hope they don't make the grave mistake of importing people from barbaric cultures.
ОтветитьI enjoy writing computer code, but I know I need to diversify my activities. I try to hit the gym and occasionally take my motorcycle out on the highway to greet other riders with some wheelies. I'm not much of a video game player, but when I do play, I usually team up with an artificial intelligence, machine learning, to beat younger opponents and pretend they are really dumps without any talent in video games. I like teenage, but they can't win against me. This is nice to see a good developer with some respect for humankind.
ОтветитьWonder where this masa is right now and how is he doing in his life.
Ответитьlol code vein
ОтветитьFeel sorry for them having to live in such cramped space

ОтветитьEven though this is so cheap, people would still steal the food in the cafeteria
Ответитьwhat time do game developers, artists etc usually finish work? the western game industry has insane crunch hours, japan has that kinda crunch just normalised across all sectors so im abit curious about game dev in japan having insane hours
Ответитьi want to be a junior game developer right now
ОтветитьMake that skinner box!
Ответитьcould you lz provide day life of telecom engineer
ОтветитьIn Spanish plsss
ОтветитьI thought about getting into game design in my early 20s. When I heard about the amount of crunch that goes on however, I decided against it. That....and it turns out I'm not a great programmer. lol
ОтветитьAs someone who wants to become a game developer when I grow up this video makes me excited for the future
ОтветитьFor those of you who don't know. When talking about code, it's alot easier to write out what you'd like to get done, before you begin coding it. I noticed towards the end of the video, Paolo talking about analog being better. Some Western Devs actually do a similar technique where instead of writing it down, and wasting paper they have Rubber Ducks you talk to at your desk to figure out a problem.
During highschool when I took college courses, I actually spoke with real deal game devs about techniques to work through being stumped. So, it's awesome to see techniques I was told about, and thought were a little silly in action. Whenever I'm hobby coding, I always break out Doug my cowboy rubber ducky to talk through my hardships with. Generally it tends to workout rather well. I've had Doug my rubber ducky for about four years now, he was gifted to me by a guest speaker who worked for EA. It sounds silly at first talking to yourself, but trying to work things out in your head tends to lead to disaster. Once you put it out there into the world, it tends to solve itself. It's why most gamedevs have little action figures on their desks. Not because it's cool, but because they're little buddies you talk to to solve problems instead of bothering other coworkers.
Happy To See You !!! ❤❤
ОтветитьFrom time to time I return to watch this video, I even memorized Paolo's lines. It gives me a sense of innocent happiness —cannot describe it better— to watch a guy like Masa going to work in his quiet office, taking a nap, coding and then going back home to build his GUNDAM models.
Ответитьcode vein is such a hidden gem really glad that guy was so happy about his game
ОтветитьI can build landscapes and drop game objects into the map. That is about it. Smoothening out the landscape to connect with game objects properly is needed. I saw there are some good game dev packages for characters and animations that are affordable. However i cant do anything like write scripts for npc's. I think alot of game dev is rendering graphical stuff onto game objects. It seemed easier to just use pre-existing up to date game objects. Otherwise creating outfits and items is art. Mapping out the interface is sort of built into the IDE but requires coding to interface. So much stuff to do in game dev. Game dev though seemed like one of the easier programming skills to pick up. The technical code like graphics, OS dependencies, bridging and server queries seems like the hard part.
Ответитьthat amazing
ОтветитьThe honor system thing would work in some places in the USA but some places if a company put one of those in it would be empty and some people won’t pay
ОтветитьWhat a great life! i'm jealous.
ОтветитьWait, for to become a programmer, don't you need to be fluent in English? How come this bro can't speak English?
ОтветитьThis is the only who shows us the real life of a software engineer. Others usually show us super fancy lifestyles
ОтветитьThey don't bath??
ОтветитьYUCK!!!...He didn't brush his teeth!!!
ОтветитьCode Vein is an excellent game.
I like how Bandai Namco has become the Darling game studio of Japan and how Konami became a pariah. 🤣

Ответитьyour eyes tell a lot :))
Ответитьi think Masa could work in NASA exactly
ОтветитьI don't need a big house. Give me a studio, manga and a bucket for a toilet and I'll be happy
