I just wanna put it out there. vorpx is a thing...hoping star sector can get the vorpx treatment...playing VR Starsector with depth perception would be awesome!

I've just found two terran worlds next to each other in my new playthrough and was immediately reminded of this madness...now I'm also inclined to wage a food war across the galaxy.

I have a copy of this game somewhere, id love to learn to play this game, shame i dont really have much time to try to learn solo, being taught and going "oh so you can do this and this to cause this" is the best feeling for anyone imo.

Rarr, your videos are part of the reason why I decided to pick up Starsector and give it a go. Thankfully, I have never tried any of your strategies, but your videos make for an excellent primer for anyone interested in the game as a whole.

That's one thing I love about starsector. You can play it as "Mercenary Corp" where you do all the other empire's dirty work

Or you can play it as a ruthless capitalist whose sole motive is profit, regardless of who stands in their way.

Cool idea and interesting vid about one of the greatest games I've ever played.
I'd like to one day colonize all colonizable planets on a big map. Tried it 3 times, but unfortunatelly infamous "money bug/limit" prevents me from achieveing it :(
I still hope it will be fixed one day...

Every nation/empires flag is stained with blood, say what they will in the years to come because of what you did peace was secured and a 4 faction union was formed to protect what’s left.

I think a cool challenge would, that you can only use ships you produce out of your own heavy industry. And you can’t change anything.

The game decided that your eradicator needs 5 hullmods well would suck to be you. Or the heavy industry thinks that putting thumpers everywhere is a good idea.

I think it could be nice playing with those unique and suboptimal shipdesigns

this game is so damn hard... with all the logistics, the AI being unaffected by logistics problem, or fleet caps.
but even i enjoy seeing my small colony developping, and an orbital station being built. it's very gratifying when the game doesn't decide you have to die.
