These electric trucks are cool, but that range is pretty dismal.

If anyone reads this, note how he crosses his chains when he attches them to the truck. If you dont cross your chains and for some reason the trailer ends up hanging from the chains while driving, the trailer will violently swing side to side.

If you cross the chains, the trailer will keep tracking straight after it disconnects. This has to do with force vectors. Crossing the chains creates a single vector as opposed to two separate force vectors that immediately begin oscillating.

I had a 29' bumper pull camper trailer detatch from the hitch at 45mph. Had i not crossed the chains, the trailer would have slid off the road into a ditch and caused an accident.

Side note, if for some reason you get a flat tire on a tandem axle trailer and dont have a spare, you can use chains or heavy duty rarchet straps to fix the axel to the frame. You jack the trailer up, remove the flat, then wrap the chain or strap around the axle and frame enough times to handle the load, then lower the trailer back down. The load that was on the flat tire gets shifted to the other tire(s) on that side and you can drive slow to a tire shop.

I lost a wheel and hub on a triple axle once and had to drive 3 hours to the nearest shop.

For the price I'd buy a diesel truck and get longer range when towing

The cybertruck weights less because it's filled with nothing in it meanwhile the Rivian actually has features and is safe for potential crashes and can deform unlike the cybertruck.

Your load should always go as far forward as possible. Thats how you get into the uncontrollable back and forth.

lol just like every Tesla I run up to on the freeway, driving slow because they are experiencing range anxiety and praying they'll make the next charger. 109 miles? $80k truck? Do the math, what a scam.

Would be interested if you could do a 2020-2022 Ford 6.7 powerstroke, identical load, 0-60 time. If you could try a 2023 that would work too, just two diesel options and not as many people have them.

Good honest review, although the "freezing weather" part is somewhat exaggerated. (32 F at beginning to 34 F at end). How about a test when it's -10 or -20 F, normal winter temperatures in Montana, North Dakota and up on the Canadian prairies?

90 miles on a charge is not good at all. I would have made it 4 states over with my Silverado towing before filling up again

WHAT'S NOT SAID: THESE HEAVIER EVs ARE NOT PAYING ROAD TAX, POWER COMPANIES SENT OUT PIE CHARTS DEPICTING ENERGY RATES ROUND THE CLOCK. RATES TO CHARGE AT NIGHT ARE APPROXIMATELY 40% CHEAPER THAN PEAK HOURS , 3:00 PM - 9:00PM. ESSENTIALLY FAMILIES AND NON EV OWNERS SUBSIDIZING EVs. The Rivian and Cybertruck are $115,000.00+ vehicles, the Lighting is about $90,000.00. what are these vehicles driving range once these batteries get 3 years old or so. They will not be economical at all, at peak hour rates, pay road tax, all spending 40 minutes for an 80% charge. All putting out more carbon emissions than gas vehicles. People don't realize electricity doesn't magically manifest itself at receptacles in your home. Electricity is forced to your home by voltage. Electricity is generated at powerplants and needs to force the electricity to substations which then reduce the voltage and distribute it to transformers in neighborhoods to reduce it to house current approximately 120VAC. To make this long trip it starts out at approximately 400,000 volts. So carbon emissions are emitted producing the energy and even more forcing the energy 40+ .miles. The Green New Deal is a lie. It doesn't reduce emissions but it does make the rich, richer just like the fake climate change, etc.

Do you realize that the cameras on the cyber truck recognize that you’re towing a car so it cannot give you a icon of a trailer because you’re not pulling a trailer you’re pulling a car and the cameras can’t distinguish between a car, which is a low profile and a truck which is a high profile which you’re towing a vehicle that is high off the ground do your research
