Love it, on my list of classic builds 👌🏼
Ответитьyou should slow down when the watc is on you wrist !!!
besides, it's fun and comfortable to watch your vid
This was awesome!
ОтветитьLooks nicer than my original 6105!
ОтветитьLo haces ver muy facil!...saludos y felicidades desde Puerto Rico!
Ответитьit s fantastic it s my dream to have this watch. Actualy i have sk007
ОтветитьWould you build me one?
Ответитьmy favorite build. i would do it and save tons of money
ОтветитьI want one! I have asked Qiin/Steeldive to do something like this - they would sell shedloads.
ОтветитьThe Kang is here
ОтветитьGreat vid, do you have a build kit list to share?
ОтветитьTry doing a mod with the captain willard case not with turtle case.
Ответитьhow much did you spend for all of the parts?
ОтветитьSo cool, how did you learn to do this ? Thanks
ОтветитьI love this build. Would you sell it?
ОтветитьOut of curiosity, how expensive was this build? It looks awesome!
ОтветитьWould a stargate dial from an original stargate diver 1) work on a srp777??
ОтветитьSweet! Would have been nice to see some lume.
ОтветитьYou've got a real eye for what works visually. A lot of custom watches go over the top, but this example is perfect!
ОтветитьWhere can one learn how to do this type of stuff? Are you trained or self taught?
ОтветитьReally nice vid and a beautifully executed variation on this classic. I'm excited to have discovered DIY watch modding so early in my middle-age watch bender. Such a better fit for my budgets and interests than simply saving up and collecting.
ОтветитьVery nice!!!! I want one. I have a Turtle SRP777 with a coin edged bezel and a Uncle Seiko waffle rubber strap. I love it but a perfect one for me would be a Kanji day wheel black, no PSX logo, maybe no day date at all (Seiko doesn’t make no day date dials). What would be better…. Modern movement with a 6150-8119 case. Do any company make an aftermarket case, or can anyone get a reissue Captain Willard case?
ОтветитьLooks beautiful!. The Nh36 movement can you adjust the day-date separately,?
ОтветитьI thought the black day/ white date was an odd choice until I saw it finished and it works!
ОтветитьThat is not a 6105 case that is the case for the predecessor of 6105 or what they call the turtle is it not?
ОтветитьVery nice, i love your choice of this Capt Willard build, well done 👍
ОтветитьLooks like the case you used is a 6105-8000
ОтветитьI love this version !
Only thing,...... and this is nit picking at it's very best/ or worst is the colour red on the second hand and the day window on sunday doesn't quite match .
But I would buy one of these in a heartbeat if it was in my price range !
Fantastic mod !
Nice..is that for sale?
Ответитьlooks awesome!@
ОтветитьNice build! Thank you for the inspiration.
ОтветитьThat was really well done, I like the day/date option, building a watch from scratch still amazes me.
ОтветитьBTW... where did you get the day/date dial for this build? I've wanted to build one with this feature, and can't find it anywhere.
ОтветитьCool tip: You can put clear packing tape on the inside face of the dial, covering the day/date window, and then color it with a sharpie. that will give you lots of non-permanent color options for your day/date wheels. It does require a white day/date wheel, obviously. You can even to two-tone wheels the same way.
ОтветитьYou can do the same thing to the indices on the dial - if you want permanently colored indices. It doesn't prevent the lume from shining.
ОтветитьFriend, should the NH35 movement be crown at 3.8?
ОтветитьThat looks great I just got a Captain Willard but there are a few things I wish were different about it. Having a day and date on it is another thing I didn't realize I wish it had ha ha. Idk if ill try modding it one day or try to build perfect watch from scratch. Great video thanks
