Kidnapping? Really? She should have gone with the "random intruder" scenario instead. There is no way on earth cops are going to believe that a guy with five kids, two jobs, and no money is the target of a kidnapping. Criminals are often dumb. Dumb enough not to immediately lawyer up in an interrogation room. You will never help yourself alone in that room, repeating your "story" over and over again. They will use all of it against you in court. All of the inconsistencies will land you in prison. Innocent people get screwed by this, so if you're hiding something, you are done and done.

Cop says he was arrested for assaulting his wife and infant son. Thinking what a monster. Then come to find out he slapped a phone out of her hand and it hit the baby. Calling that assault on either of them is a stretch. Sounds like he assaulted a phone which accidentally hit the baby. Not a great situation but if this was his only incident with domestic violence then I’d call it an honest mistake.

So Samantha found 3 white knights who she didn’t even really know who were willing to kidnap and kill her husband for….nothing? I don’t get it. 3 experienced criminals risking the death penalty where there’s nothing in it for them, and for someone they don’t even know seems unlikely to me.
