creating new characters and playing act 1 over and over again is nice to see Lae'zel's character development

I love how proud Laezel sounds when talking about the hatchling. Too bad I finished the game before this scene was added to the game.

The ending of them all meeting together again is the best path ever. The MC and Lae'zel staying together and fighting off any assassins after them is a great and dangerous life, but it is worth it. They help rebuild a city and stay together.

Can the tav get pregnant if she sleeps with one of the male characters? Or is it just the female companions?

Lae'zel reminds me a lot of Morrigan from Dragon Age...

Despite the "reputation" githyanki possess, Lae'zel never gave me the impression of cruel and sadistic. Instead, I've always seen passion

Everything she does, she does earnestly and wholeheartedly
Her beliefs, her love, her hatred, and her way of communicating her emotions are all so poetic

I think her romance stands out to me because she comes off as "difficult" to love, but when she falls for Tav, she loves as intensely as shes lived her life

god she legit became my top 2 romances she legit beats Karlach just by a little but ofc Astarion , Lae'zel, Karlach, Shadowheart as of now (it might change haha gotta do more watching)

I hope that my lesbian Gith that romances Lae'zel will eventually have a cutscene with our little hatchling being a cute little family together.

I'm glad they did this, because the ending they gave her on release felt a bit lacklustre despite the constant build up with Vlaakith and Orpheus. It never felt like she fully came into her own...until now.

I romanced Lae'zel on my 2nd playthrough. I liked her more and more with each passing dialog. In the end i descided to turn myself into a mind flayer to save her prince and her kin. And she was like "Well, thank you for sacrificing everything for me... but you are a monster now, so i will break up with you and leave with Orpheus. See ya never."
I hate her now.

I could be wrong but i believe after seeing the hatchery in the creche if you speak to Lae'zel about it she tells you not every githyanki is capable of laying eggs and those that can are specially chosen by Vlaakith to do so meaning the hatchling most likely is indeed the one from the hatchery assuming you never handed it over to the lady outside the creche

What's it like if you're a gith yourself and went with her to fight?

All of the romances in this game are well done. Everything Larian has given us and continues to give us has set a new gold standard in gaming.

Since the Emperor is a control freak, I think there is only one way for everyone we care about to get the best ending. I want to preface it with the theme of the game being to rise up in spite of the greater forces controlling us. We write our own destinies. Namely, fuck Mizora, Vlaakith, Zariel, Mystra, Cazador, Shar, and Bhaal. With that said, depending on your romance option:
- Orpheus becomes a mind flayer, Githyanki Tav joins Lae’zel in the liberation of their people. Otherwise, Vlaakith supporter Lae’zel is convinced to stay on the prime material plane.
- Wyll becomes the Blade of Avernus and takes Karlach back to the Hells. Tav can go too, if Karlach was romanced.
- Shadowheart rejects Shar and her parents are rescued.
- Astarion does not complete the ritual. The goal here is to reject our masters, not become them.
- Gale gives up the Crown. This seems counter to my premise, but Raphael is very certain that Gale will cause something akin to the next Time of Troubles, only much worse.
- The Shadow-Cursed Lands are healed for Halsin.
- Minsc is convinced to collaborate with the Guild.
- Jaheira and Minthara don’t need any extra effort aside from being alive at the end of the game, but Minthara does love Tav even more if they become a mind flayer, and one ending makes it out that becoming illithid isn’t as bad as Withers thought it was. Become squid at your own risk. Sprinkle on Dark Urge rejecting Bhaal as desired.

Can Githyanki have children with other races?

I thought she couldnt have children due to interspecies disparity? Always did wonder if True Polymorph or Illusion could circumvent the problem though (Race Illusion tricks weapons, y'know?)

I atill can't get around doing that to Gale. I will see what hapens if Orpheus becomes the Mindflayer. ^^

I'm so glad this update gave closure to Laezel's side quest regarding the Gith egg. I was so disapponted when I went to all the trouble to keep the egg for Laezel to supposedly raise, only to end up with not a single mention towards the end of the game.

Maaan, it sucks that giving the Gith egg to the society of brilliance has such a terrible outcome lol. Their plan sounded great in theory. Raise a Gith away from all their usual violent ways and see if they could be a normal person, but they had to go teach him some crazy doctrine or w/e which he followed way too strictly and killed everyone. And then Voss chews me out for stealing it when I convinced the guy it would be better to give it to me than let it get destroyed.

an opportunity was missed by not making yourself a red dragonborn so that laezel could ride her red dragon

While sweet, i feel like keeping her with you pc you are denying her from her true calling and fate. I wish there was an option that you join against vlaakith in the astral seas together

Lae'zel's epilogue seems like one of the best, Larion really outdone themself's with this & their game of the year success is well deserved imo.

It's actually a shame that patch 5 changed the romance with Lae'zel if we are an illithid, before patch 5, if we were an illithid she would still choose to stay with us if we asked and said she like our soul, and she'll need a bit of time to accomodate our change but she doesn't care (which made me put her in number 1).
Now with patch 5 she just said "f*ck you dirty ghaik, I'm off to kill the lich queen", and then in the party she said she miss us, and would like to hold us, this doesn't make sense.

Honestly out of everyone I expected wyll if any to become a parent but lae'zel? Never expected it.

The best Character development is in Lae'zel, a great story that you may build, My admiration to writers, as i veteran playing D&D i love how in this game the Astral Plane's Lore and Gith are embeded... a thing of beauty.
