The Prusa printers are always working well and do not disappoint. Highly recommended.
ОтветитьStill watching, I always 3d print the pcbs especially for design the enclosure and the spacing. Sometimes is also useful for component clearance with standoff, align holes, etc.
ОтветитьI recommend rosin-based 3D printers for such a detailed model
in order to check whether your PCB is fitting in your device box, you will probably need more accuracy because of complex case forms
If you have a look the comparison of FDM and SLA 3D printers you will immediately see the excellent accuracy and precision print outputs from SLA printers
The Chinese prices start at about $400 of low volume 3d printers
Great way for modelling when working in multidisciplinary projects especially with mechanical engineers :)

ОтветитьRobert, if you buy the Ender 3 Pro (I did 2 just weeks ago, really good so far!) then you should definitely also get the BigTreeTech SKR Mini E3 V2.0 board. The standard board is under-powered (CPU and memory wise) and the steppers are very loud.
Or you can buy the new Ender 3 V2 which has many stock upgrades such as 32-bit CPU, quiet steppers and a TFT screen.
TIP: Fusion 360 can do a fast export to STL via File > 3D Print, Uncheck 'Send to 3D Print Utility', selected the body you want to export and press OK.
Your STL file will be instantly exported.
I checked, the exported .stl file is 100% identical to the 'File Export' method!
TIP: Fusion 360 can do a fast STL export via: File > 3D Print, Uncheck 'Send to 3D Print Utility', select the 3D body and press OK.
I checked, the exported .stl file is identical to the file exported via File > Export!

There is now also te new Ender 3 V2 which has many stock upgraded such as 32bit CPU, quiet steppers and TFT screen.
really looking forward to seeing your IMX8 board. are you going to make it open source like imx7 one?
ОтветитьHi sir, you have any high speed design course specially for cadence. If then share me link, i will buy it. Thanks
ОтветитьGreat video. I would like to see you 3D print the octopus you generated in the past when you wanted to test a board where one of the footprints was wrong. ;-)
By the way, when you are a hardware guy, the problem is always the software!
Thanks again for the great information Robert !!
