Unfun fact: In 2012, a New York State English exam question used a story about a pineapple racing against a hare. The original author who wrote the story clearly stated that his story was not supposed to make sense, and therefore should not be used as an exam question to test the student’s logical skills.

To any higher schoolers reading this with a significant other going away to school a year before you: Do yourself a favor and end it. It is inevitable in 99.9% of cases anyway, and honestly, you do NOT want to get to your 30's having only ever known/loved your one high school sweetheart. Unless you're boring, in which case you probably can't do better so go nuts, but for anyone normal, I highly advise not being in a relationship when heading off to school and/or to end your relationship with a partner going off to school.

There is a way to go to college without ever taking those tests. Once you go on military active duty and serve some time those scores are not required for college entrance. That is just a little side note. I also never thought that where you go to college should be determined by one silly little test. Those tests do not truly test for actual intelligence. True intelligence comes from being able to genuinely apply what you learn to actual real life situations. How many kids know how to forage for food or apply a tourniquet to save someone? You won't find that on those types of tests. Just because a person can read books and memorize things does not make them smart. IQ always changes anyway. It is never something that is stagnate.

It sure is easy to infiltrate an office building when all your high schoolers look like they might actually already be grandparents.

Math is the most fundamental and basic earthly language. Even some animals use It. And nowdays, imbecilish kids and their parents push an agenda that they can omit maths completely throughout their journey through education systems... That is a true disaster guys.

No sane person would ever write 280 is to 14 as 14 is to what? so why is it allowed in the question. It's just a horrible way to phrase a simple question in a confusing way.

14:280 is the same as X:14. What is the value of X?

SAT's are the worst test for testing knowledge on the face of the planet my combined score is higher then his but lower over all (i took it 3 times cause i could but they always send in you highest score for each section (or they are supposed to) so if you can take it early in HS and often as possible and just focus on one of the 3 sections

Its more true about the test all kids in china are required to take and all other talents are ignored....
