The special program for version 5.3 has ended, and as expected, Hoyoverse teased loads of amazing stuff that is coming in the next update. But one of the most important things about this special program was the new character announcements. Hoyoverse has officially confirmed 7 new characters who will be released in future patches. They didn't reveal the characters, but we have received some information about who those characters could be from credible sources.

Starting with the first character. The first one is basically a no-brainer. It's Iansan. Without a doubt, it's her. That silhouette is screaming that it's Iansan. She has a dumbbell in her hand, which might be part of her idle animation or something. So yeah, Hoyoverse might have revealed one of her idle animations without actually revealing it. As for her weapon and rarity, it's still not confirmed. But she's expected to be a 4-star Electro bow user. And according to the dataminers, she is expected to be released in version 5.5 or later.

The next character is definitely Dahlia, or as some people like to call him, the vampire boy. Dahlia is a deacon from the Church of Favonius. Barbara mentioned Dahlia during Rosaria's official introduction as the person who asked for her help to find Rosaria. Dahlia is also expected to be a 4-star character, but there's currently no information about his release date, weapon, or element. However, if you look at his overall design, he does look like a Cryo character, similar to Rosaria. But that design is pretty old now, and there's a good chance that it's been scrapped.

Moving on to the next character. That's Ifa. As you can see, he has a tall male model. So we've won. We're finally getting another tall male character after Wriothesley and Neuvillette. A few days ago, some sources said that we wouldn't get any male characters in the remaining Natlan patches, but they were wrong. As for Ifa, there's not much information available at the moment. But according to Hxg, he might be a 4-star character. I hope they're wrong, and he's a 5-star character. We haven't gotten any tall male 5-star character in Natlan, so yeah, I'm really hoping that Hxg is wrong about this one.

The next character is Skirk. And she is expected to be released in version 5.7. I'm not making this up. It has been confirmed by various reliable sources. She will be released in version 5.7, and she will be a 5-star Cryo character. As for her weapon, she will be a sword user. And now, I'm more hyped for her rather than Mavuika. So free-to-play players, you know what you gotta do now. Save those precious primogems.

The last three characters are Varesa, Mizuki, and a new character from Fontaine. Varesa is from Natlan and is speculated to be a 5-star Electro unit. While she hasn't made any in-game appearance, she has been mentioned in the game multiple times. She is from the Collective of Plenty tribe, and she is going to be a limited character. Why am I saying limited character? Well, our next character, who's Mizuki, is expected to be a 5-star standard character. Kimitsuki Ayano or Mizuki, whatever you wanna call her, is expected to be released in version 5.4.

Based on the character IDs shared by HomDGCat, Mizuki's ID is 109, meaning she is likely to be released in version 5.4. Meanwhile, Varesa's ID is 111, meaning she might be released in either version 5.5 or 5.6. Since Iansan is expected to be a 4-star, she might be released in either 5.5 or 5.6.
