Fantastic vids - this channel is going places 👍
ОтветитьThe rotary engine still has an opportunity. Love the concept! It does not have to stop and go backwards. It is true synchronicity.
ОтветитьLove this videos. They are like old fascion documentary. Keep the great work.
ОтветитьWhile I love your videos due to how insightful and knowledgeable they are, the overly loud music can be annoying as it sometimes overpowers your voice.
If you could tutn down the music acouple of notches and turn up your voice, it would be so much better.
feel like japans greatest gamble happened in 1942...
ОтветитьDorito emgine
ОтветитьFantastic vids - this channel is going places . Fantastic vids - this channel is going places .
Ответитьbill gates is a mass murderer and isn't it strange the "good ones" always write the history books 🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔🤔
ОтветитьRX-8 LOL
ОтветитьNothing and I mean nothing tops a rotary engine sound
ОтветитьThe first piston engine was made over '200 years' ago and rotaries were made in the late 50's but still they shook the throme of pistons in less than 40 years had the world shown some courage and money, we could be seeing a 'Rotary Hypercar' 🙁
ОтветитьThis is by far my favorite story telling car channel. Please keep them coming, I’ve binge watched them all in a night.
ОтветитьWhat would you prefer on your deathbed? All the riches of the world, or a legend?
RX-7.
Gordon Gecko has an office in Hiroshima???😂
Ответитьand that rx7, its MINE! I WANT IT!
ОтветитьAnd in a secret lab somewhere in Australia mazda made a human with the heart of the rotary and premixed fuel named mad mike
ОтветитьTop notch, I’m about to binge all your videos. On a side note, it would be so cool to see you and 337Speed do something together. It would be epic!
Ответить"Making a deal with the revel that Henry Ford created", Felix wenkel 😅
ОтветитьI don't feel that jumping over a chair from a standing start is at all impressive. I think most averagely healthy people could do that. Also it wasn't a standing start as he claimed he could do, he took a step.
ОтветитьAwesome video, awesome car! It wasn't that the RX-7 wasn't great. It was great, and other JDM legends also where amazing, in fact for me the 90's where the peak of automotive industry. Legends where made all around the world at that time. No matter where you are and what type of cars you like, there's always a 90's legend that you want. It could be an indestructable Benz W124, it could be exotic Lambo Diablo, it could be that sexy muscle Dodge Viper, it could be a dorito powered wonder. 👌🏻 I mean, in the 90's for sure there where less boring cars than today. Prove me wrong. 🍻
Ответитьand now they make NPC cars powered by mediocrity how far they've fallen
ОтветитьWankel is not dead: Wankel pairs ideally with hydrogen combustion. Wankel failed because of emissions; Wankel has high unburned hydrocarbons emissions as it has no valves. With hydrogen we don't care if one or two percent slip; it is not toxic. Green hydrogen: nobody cares about a percent or two; it is just a question of costs. And weight: today exhaust gas treatment is extremely heavy and voluminous. So .......
ОтветитьUnsubbed. Still peddling lies about the likes of Bill Gates, LOL.
ОтветитьI watch these while I warm up and just wanted to thank you for the countless hours of brain stimulation you give me, as I mindlessly run through scales
ОтветитьReally enjoyed this one.
My Grandfather, Tony Denniss, was on that team in the 50s. He then went onto be one of the lead engineers on the Norton Commando, and consulted on many 80s and 90s Fords.
How much would i have to pay to do a video like this but with Renault Kangoo 1st gen? :D
ОтветитьRight After the thumbnail changed I clicked the vedio 🙂
ОтветитьI used to have an 89 FC Rx7, I loved that little car. It was wild!
ОтветитьYeah Americans were so racist in their car buying that we bought Honda accords, civics and Toyota Camrys in record numbers 🙄
ОтветитьI got a Honda ad after the video finished :|
ОтветитьAs an FD RX7 owner they are indeed incredible.
ОтветитьHilarious to hear how racist americans were considering the fact that asians were always the most racist of humans
ОтветитьI loved my 87 RX-7 - - - what a great car to drive!
ОтветитьMakes me so proud to have owned a first generation 12A Rotary. 1983 Mazda RX-7
ОтветитьFree Smith was a real G lol
ОтветитьI always thought the miata was an economy car... And to think that that friendly little face was a drunkard
ОтветитьI have been saving a nice chunk of change to buy an F82 M4 then when the G87 M2 was announced I thought I had my heart set on buying that instead, so I saved even more. Now the rumor mill is churning, and its saying Mazda might make a new rotary engine sports car with a hybrid AWD and you better believe I would be one of the first to line up at my local Mazda dealership if it comes to fruition (assuming it comes with 3 pedals). Although I would be lying if I said it wasn't tempting to just spend my savings on an FD3S.
Ответитьnsu?
ОтветитьImagine what the Rotary could have become if it had the entire planet's automotive financial power behind it for 138 years
Instead of being a single small manufacturer's passion project
Good
ОтветитьThe RX-7 is my one bucket list car, sad as that is. Since seeing them in the first Gran Turismo, I've been obsessed. Shame so many were totaled over the years.
ОтветитьWhat's the point to build an engine that eats itself slowly. You are lucky to get 100k km from it. Its a no starter, which why it failed.
A good video BTW.
Would be interesting to learn about other weird engines like Subaru's EJ. Always wondered about Subaru's history with boxers and why they lean so hard into them
ОтветитьReally is a bit of a shame you didn't mention NSU, the very first company to bet it all on the rotary and the one to loose everything on that bet because they couldn't make their engines reliable enough.
Ответить
