Can you use this method to hang wallpaper on "normally" textured walls? As in not overly textured but typical spray texture often used on newly built walls.

A firm roller works well for pushing out the bubbles too.... don't risk scratching things up, but use the blade for the corners :)

Question: I'd like to save money, hence thinking of having wallpaper instead of finished drywall. Meaning, no tape no mud no color. Just install drywall, then add wallpaper on top. I know it's not ideal and it might show some small lines. Besides that, any other major reason not to do it? The difference is about $3k for one room. I'm inSan Fransisco and labor is too expensive. Your video is very clearly presented. Unfortunately we followed your instructions and had really bad results. Maybe it works for Vinyl wallpaper. We had more absorbant paper, and it creates the biggest bubbles and a lot of stress! 🤯 Painting the paper and waiting 10min to grow... as well as lightly coating the wall worked a charm 👌🏼
