Excellent training video. Everything clearly explained, particularly the progression from the beginning.
ОтветитьParalletes?
ОтветитьStrong woman all day you have great form love seeing your muscles contract😊
Ответить❤
ОтветитьIs it possible to swivel the feet so they are in line with the bars so the parallettes can slide under the bed or sofa for storage?
ОтветитьI would love if you made a follow up video showing some more options for parallel bar exercises. Or maybe this already exists and I’m just not searching the right terms? I’d love some inspiration of what I can do once I get my dips or some exercises I can do along the way to my first dip that aren’t directly part of the dip progression. Just to find other ways to spend time on the dip bars.
ОтветитьThis video was very well thought out and executed with taste and intelligence. We beginning calisthenists need more videos like this than some of the others that are out there. Thanks very much.
ОтветитьThank you because I was struggling trying to do these dips!
ОтветитьI always did dips but going down slowly, not going up. I didn't know I can put my feet on the floor. I tried it and wow! What a game changer! This will for sure help me finally get to my goal which is doing dips with body weight. Thanks!!
ОтветитьThank you. Straightforward, informative, honest, and useful in promoting good form and a healthy perspective on progressing into building strength. My son is 17 years old and autistic and it is ever so useful to be able to demonstrate to him how to exercise safely and establish realistic expectations and pacing in order to minimize frustration. I'm building up better habits and discipline along the way as well as I guide him. We have a dear friend who is a certified physical trainer with whom I consult frequently but my son is not able to take instruction from him directly just yet. Having videos like yours for my son to watch and to listen to and hear a voice other than my own is immensely helpful.
ОтветитьAlways wanted to master the dip . Had a shoulder energy awhile back. Now that my shoulder has improved greatly my mindset is now set at mastering it. I love your demo and will follow your instructions. Much Joy. To your Health and Wellness✨☺️💪🏾
ОтветитьThis is so helpful! One of the things I struggle with doing dips is hand pain. Any tips?
ОтветитьExcellent drills
ОтветитьThank you so much for your helpful calisthenics beginner videos. I was wondering if you think that strength training can help with progression in calisthenics?
ОтветитьThank you for this. I’ve started doing the low bench tricep dips. At first I could barely manage 3, one month in and I can now do 2 sets of 10. Looking to raise my feet up next. Excellent video.
ОтветитьHi Lucy
This is so beautifully and comprehensively explained.
Thank you so much!!!
Nice 👍
ОтветитьI feel like my journey to calisthenics has been a really unusual one! I have just joined the gym with the goal of getting my calisthenics on, but in some ways I feel like I have already been training calisthenics without meaning to for the last 8 months as I do aerial hoop (or Lyra) classes on a weekly basis. I absolutely love it and definitely relate to the elation of unlocking a skill. I can't wait to see where calisthenics will take me, both in the gym and in my aerial training! So glad I've found this channel, it feels like a super positive and educational space ❤️
ОтветитьVery good tips 😌👍
Ответитьyou r so cute.
ОтветитьHey Lucy! I’m a new follower and I can’t express it in words how much you have inspired me! Also, I can relate to you so much because our lives are pretty much similar in terms of fitness. I’ve been overweight my whole life and a mindless eater, just can’t stop indulging and I’ve always found it hard to stop when I’m full. Not anymore though! I’ve been watching your videos (plan to watch all now) and I was going to wait till after diwali (I’m Indian and diwali is almost like Christmas here, big holiday with lots of food and sweets) to start my weightloss journey but, as you say, that’d just be me procrastinating even more and the motivation would never come. Hence, I started a routine on Oct 1st. My goals include mastering at lease one push-up, being able to run a km without panting for life, and many more. It’s been amazing to see myself so motivated and happy. Been working out in the mornings, finding myself happier and feeling lighter already. I don’t plan to weigh myself on the scale yet. I just love your content!! Just want to say a BIG thank you for sharing your story and knowledge with us. Really looking forward to more content on your channel. ♥️
Ответитьhello you r doing great😊
my query is can calisthenic exercise helps in curing scalp psoriases?
waiting for your reply.......
I want to do all those cool calisthenics moves but I don’t where to begin in the gym. I’ve lifted weights for a long time but have no idea how to go about calisthenics there’s no real progression guide of basic to advanced movements
ОтветитьLucy these videos/series are a godsend, well explained and easy to understand🙂😃.Thanks for all the camera angles when show casing the tutorial. ОтветитьThank you so much because of your videos and motivation I can just start exercise and todays my 6th week 😁
ОтветитьI recently started working on dips and now I see how to fix my form. Thank you. 😀
ОтветитьThank you lucy for the encouragement
ОтветитьGreat video! One thing that really helped me was static hold on the paralletes. I practiced holding for time after a set of push ups.
