Yes I love everyone's comments here.. remember seeing this movie with my folks back 60s. And l still rember them telling my sister Ann and me my mother and family living under the attacks of the Mussolini then rhe Nazis and then the Communists back from 1946 to1949. My dad fighting in Europe and under the blitzkrieg in London but still had a heart attack.. this movie particular brings tears to my eyes cuz l remember the sacrifices great folks like the Norwegians and other had sacrifice for their freedom and culture.. and now we're getting people from the Middle East who became refugees in their lands and fellow Muslim countries ignored them had a hard struggle coming to Europe and now there's on threat of losing the European identity and culture and have it replaced with before refugees with a conservative viewpoint and faith. I can see how they feel so alienated in Europe. And I hope to God they would not change Europe and replace it with their very conservative anti woman, anti jewish anti christian and homophobic. Rules. You would never see Christians and others prosper in Muslim countries right

This movie is hard to find I saw it when I was a child but I never forgot the courage of the people of a small Norwegian town and they’re distain and horrified witnessing of the third reich and how they honoured Norway 🇳🇴 with their blood and bravery. My mun was a war buff for many reasons and told me that the film while well acted was a good example of the courage of Norway 🇳🇴
