Damn. I was looking for 2700k vs 3000k video and stumbled here and enjoyed every second of it.

So one thing I'm wondering about, if you're matching your light temperatures, do you also match your overhead, ambient and task lighting temperatures all to each other?

you said don't mix two temp so even though kitchen should be cooler than living ( open floor concept) you said use something between warm and soft white for consistent temp. But for which living space? What number would that mean? What should you light living/dining and what should you light the kitchen with?

I'd like to see a video about colored lighting (not just whites) for living spaces! I make use of smart LED bulbs that have color options and it can make for some very interesting combos when you transition colors from one side of a living space to another (i.e. red on one side blue on the other and a nice purple hue in between.
