Portland Vintage Trolley- Last Run

After being a mechanic on the Portland Vintage Trolley this last year I decided to ride the very last run before the trolleys are shipped off to St. Louis.

We left the Rose Quarter facility and headed for the turnaround spot at Lloyd Center, but transit police was blocking the siding track. So instead we went ALL the way to Gateway transit center along the Trimet MAX mainline! We topped at about 55 mph going down this portion of the line! Only a few times in the past 20 years of operation has this ever happened, I was lucky enough to catch it on video and experience it!!! Enjoy :)
