I ain't even going to try to support my opinion here because its not the bars alone, not the flow, not the rhyme scheme, not the content/message, not his mastery at having you instantly visualize his words coming to life, not the beat, and definitely not his star power/notoriety at the time of release, but straight up the first verse by Cube is simply one of the top 5 "best sounding verses" in rap history.

I feel that it used to be well known, but maybe because hes legit og triple og status, maybe some younger folks may not know: when it comes to story telling, Cube is probably the only guy that people don't have an issue placing above 3 stacks and is most commonly listed as the best all time at story telling through his raps. Better than Biggie, better than 3 Stacks.
