ОтветитьPhiladelphia was on the tail end of a baseball tour I was on back in '07. I was soooo disappointed that I could fit a visit to this wonderful neighborhood before seeing a Phillies home game.
ОтветитьNot Italian at all.. Really...
This is American pasta. No Italian pasta😂😂
that's thomato sauce or sugo in italian, not red gravy. Jesus.
ОтветитьItalian American cooking: Don’t have the same ingredients as old country, so they adapted. Eggplant parmigiana… cannot get the same eggplant in USA, so what do we have? Lots and lots of cheaper meat… chicken parmigiana, veal parmigiana. It’s one of the reasons why Italian food in America has more oregano and garlic because fresh basil wasn’t available so they had to replace the bright flavors in other ways. They also had to feed other Americans too so serving size and convenience affected how food was prepared. It’s italian food because italian immigrants created it and established it in USA for us to continue. Saying it’s just American sort of takes away the life story of those New York Italians
ОтветитьWHY USE THE BREAD ITS NOT NEEDED THATS WHERE THEY ALL FAIL U DNT NEED BREAD PLEASE STOP IT
ОтветитьThis place is dope. ❤ it!
ОтветитьWell, I really don’t know when I would ever take a trip to Philly. But I always wanted to try a Philly cheesesteak there, and I would definitely want to stop at this place and try these meatballs too
ОтветитьI love meat♥
ОтветитьWow. I'm hungry!
ОтветитьThey were amazing
ОтветитьYa don’t want oily balls
ОтветитьOne of my favorite restaurants of all time. 💜
ОтветитьAs far as im concerned all the places i know use ground beef and pork. Not special at all
ОтветитьAs long as it’s beef I’m good
Ответитьthe best part about making meatballs is knowing that n don't know how to.
ОтветитьThe greatest most original meatball is made with pork and veal exclusively. Older animals are tough, and should be stewed or braised.
ОтветитьCan’t trust a Flyers fan
ОтветитьItalian I am… My family meatballs are so soft is the texture you only fry them until all the red is gone a few turns..DO not let the meatballs cook any longer than that. They are so good try it you will not be disappointed!!!
ОтветитьI have made a lot of different types of meatballs. Fried. Baked. Non traditional with chorizo and boudin. I am in south Texas, so of course I have made them on the grill. Traditional recipe meatballs on the grill are a gamechanger. Takes a little practice, but totally worth the effort.
ОтветитьI always, always, simmer my homemade meatballs, in my homemade sauce, after browning them first. I only brown them a bit, and allow them to finish cooking in the sauce, for about 2 hours. I have a lid on the pot on such a slight simmer, where you can seen a several bubbles come to the surface, just so gently.
ОтветитьNo offense, but when the young woman cut that meatball and said, how dense it was, I thought the same.
Ответитьобычные тефтели
ОтветитьI'm not Italian but it is by far my favorite food. Mexican good, Chinese good, Middle East good, Greek good, French good, Southern good. Italian however is heaven!
ОтветитьCan't do this without a recipe. My laptop is not in my kitchen.
ОтветитьOk I don’t agree about when you put in your seasoning, but my guy are you serious about you food! It’s very suspect
Ответить💡
ОтветитьI love my dads meatballs, there so huge and juicy so much flavor in every bite, I wish he made them again.
ОтветитьI see eggs in the mix, but no mention of it
ОтветитьNo onion?
ОтветитьI grew up in a neighborhood that was 100 percent Italian. Actually down the street from this place. The people were Italian immigrants. Their food carried but they servered the meatballs in a big dish with all of the other meat in the sauce. It was up to you to mix. I never liked the spaghetti and only ate the meat
ОтветитьMONEY IS A THEME THAT EVERYONE HAS FOR A BETTER AND LUXURIOUS LIFE. LIFE WAS HARD FOR ME UNTIL I STARTED TRADING AND NOW I AM EARNING $9500 PER WEEK.
ОтветитьI’ve been making them the same way and didn’t even realize it lol.. no wonder everyone says mine are the best..
ОтветитьThis looks a bit mangia-cake to me.
Ответить"Red Gravy"??? You mean tomato sauce, right?
ОтветитьA friend of mine’s mom was Sicilian. She made her meatballs and just dropped them in her spaghetti sauce. She never covered her sauce with a lid which resulted in no greasy film on top. Bellissimo! ❤
ОтветитьI gotta eat here!!
ОтветитьI tried this but I found the caramelized garlic was all I could taste. More is less I guess…. 🤷♀️
ОтветитьFor a great change I'd love the meatballs in an Alfredo sauce with a spinache pasta...
ОтветитьFar from the best even in the neighborhood
ОтветитьAnyone else eating meatballs while watching this?
ОтветитьDon't let the politicians make you forget that culture is important. Everyone should fight for their own culture. All this self-loathing and sacrificing one's values for globalist ideas of egalitarianism is a farce. People come far and wide for what this restaurant provides it provides a cultural experience.
Ответить1200 meatballs? C'mon that's nothing
ОтветитьOk, what he's cooking and what she cut open don't look like the same thing. What she has looks old and dry. But hey, whatever works.
ОтветитьI am not Italian, but a Swede. Believe me, 50/50 meat mix is the way to go. I have tasted many variants of minced meat around the world, and getting that pork in makes a difference. Frying might not be the traditional Italian way to make meatballs, but that is how it is done in Sweden. And NO, I am not talking about IKEA here. :)
This seems like a very nice restaurant and I would simply love to try their meatballs!
I don't understand. Italians in Italy say that meatballs are not served with spaghetti, just some ground meat!!!
