GoPro Hero 11 vs DJI Osmo Action 3 | Who's The New King of Action Cameras?

This was a good way to review, but when I bought the Action 2 over the GoPro it was based on reliability and ease of software usage. Some of us don't spend every day on action cameras and keeping it simple and reliable are key features.

Here is an idea... do a side my side of beginners learning to use the menus and get good video, out of the box.

Now that the DJI has 10bit and a few new features it would be great to see a new comparison between the cameras again.

go pro have a better details but they have a sd card incompatibility issues , all of your footage will disappear and you will not recover it

how does the Insta 360 X3 compare?

Unfortunately, GoPro needs to seriously work on quality control. Stop with the rest of the enhancements and get the house in order and fix the long standing issues. The subscription gimmick is a huge indictment on their view of the product's quality (it cant command high prices anymore) and is a cover up for product failures with the subscriptions with hidden replacement limits and fees. DJI or Akaso appears to be the only solid options for casual shooters.

I was gonna get the Hero black 11, but I've been hearing a lot of people complain about the overheating issue and it's battery life. The Action 3 issue with focus I heard got solved with the latest firmware update.

I own the DJI Action 3. One thing I like about it is the slimmer hand stick, and combo version with a total of 3 batteries with the kit and the slim 3-battery charging case. The 4k video image quality is sadly a bit more worse than my x GoPro 8. Low light performance is worse than the DJI Pocket 2 which has f1.8 . Good thing about the DJI is you can turn off the lens-front-side display screen, to make it less obvious that you're recording (can you do that with the 11?), as well as adjust the display brightness to save battery (can you do that with the 11?). The DJI Action 3 still has an ultra wide field of view with Horizon Balanace on (20mm or less). Does anyone from GoPro know what the focal length is with equivalent stabilization setting on the 11? I might sell my DJI Action 3 and get the GoPro 11.

What about battery life? My GoPro 11 is only lasting about 25-30 minutes before it says it done or over heating.

I noticed via an experiment that should you want to you can hook up a USB microphone to the Action 3. No 30 dollar dongle needed!

Great camera information, but what about subscriptions. Seems like GoPro is the only one that requires you pay for the full editing software.

The HDR of Hero 11 looks unnatural. It's hard for me to understand the joy of such a synthetic picture. But in Action 3 the low detail is frustrating (

Thank you, FINALLY, I was sure that all videos of this kind are made with Action 3 knocking GOPro to its knees, I was bombarded with Action 3 ads... but I wasn't sure which one, between gopro and action 3, the advertisement of action 3 seemed very exaggerated. Thanks for the video samples, now I'm sure I bought the right camera.
