I remember finding the original comic dub hilarious when I saw it in high school.

Over ten years later, and now I'm laughing myself stupid again. Animation does a LOT to make it funnier.

Dojima's voice was very similar to the Japanese voice actor in my opinion

Years ago like wayyyy back maybe even middle school/early high school my best friend showed me this comic dub with me having no fucking clue what persona was. I specifically remember that bit with "NANAKO...NANAKO FUCK YOU NANAKO" thing and that stuck with me for years. So a few years back i was in a group of people who had all played the games and i mentioned it and they figured out what it was and we rewatched it and i still had no fucking clue. fast forward to now, I'm 24, I finally played Persona 4 golden, the first time i have ever played a persona game. Then i remembered this, and knew I had to watch it. THE FUCKING WHIPLASH OF REMEMBERING THE JOKES BUT ALSO UNDERSTANDING THEM NOW. I would have never known the relevance of "I'm a totally unimportant gas station attendant, can i touch your handddddddsssss" until I actually played the game. Also I do feel let down by one thing now knowing the story, and that's that there wasn't enough adachi slander in this lmao.
