I liked Javier from the start until, he joined Dutch and Mica's side, then i lost all respect.

Am I the only one who felt like Javier didn't have a character and I could not have given less of a shit about him

Javier probably asked Micah how to make friends as loyal as Cleet and Joe. However Joe and/or Cleet are just like Micah and have no respect for women and Zero decency for human life. Something we see Arthur look down on despite his honor level

Javier always is an opportunist. U can see his action in RD1

I started hating Javier at Beaver Hollow when he told Charles he had been nothing but trouble, told him to watch himself, and spit at Charles' feet.

Bill went on my scum list when he told Arthur he "was the lowest of the low" for saving John from hanging. Arthur was second in command and had been for years, but once they get to Beaver Hollow they act like Arthur is the camp janitor. Pisses me off that R* won't let Arthur punch Bill and Javier when they run their mouth. Show some goddamned respect!

I just finished a high honor run and these mfers are the only ones I ever antagonized

Javier is quite an unfortunate traitor. I always enjoyed him through the whole game, and at the final confrontation, seeing Javier take Micah's side but not aim his gun at Arthur or John shows he really knows that Micah is a traitor, but his only chance of survival.

I want to belive if Rockstar didn't gave characters like Bill and Javier a ending and meaning in RDR they would have sided with Arthur in RDR2 but RDR2 needed to make sense for the events of RDR

Surely once Dutch had another deadly gunman to use (Micah), his facade of being a father to Arthur became obvious.

When those who were aiming at Arthur at the end, Javier was the only one who kept his gun in the sky, sins of ignorant but not a traitor

The one comment that said, Sean was sweet, funny and I don’t know what most of the things but he was annoying. Can’t stop talking and in the mission pouring through oil you never stop talking and John and Charles stopped talking

I dont know why bill,javier and dutch betrayed Arthur and John there was more nice people like charles he leaved i think he leaved and sadie too plus pearson and hosea died,lenny died, sean died, miss grimshaw died and kieran so if they didn’t died or leaved so they can beat dutch and micah but it was only 2 of them Arthur had tb and John got shot so Arthur died 😢😢😢

I was SHOCKED when Javier went against me... I loved him he was so nice, and after playing rdr1 .... So tragic 😔

People forget that Javier and Bill escaped ALONE after the Pinkertons appeared. The only people that pursue Arthur and John are Dutch, Micah, and his two "friends". Bill and Javier probably went their separare ways shortly after the end of Red Dead Redemption - the mission -.

I don't know how can Javier be so blindly loyal to Dutch, like Dutch kills half of town cus of smthing and Javier would be like "don't worry Arthur he has a plan don't break his heart now".

I think Javier was a people pleaser and a coward for not standing up

Micah knew exactly which buttons to push to get the members he wanted on his side. He knew that Javier had a background as a bounty hunter in Mexico and Bill was an army veteran. Two experienced guns like that would help him the most when the time came and he used them to their full advantage.

i do think it’s very telling that javier points his gun up instead of at arthur and the others, he was only listening to the leader of his gang. he runs in during the middle of dutch and arthur’s confrontation so he doesn’t have any context. javier is a very loyal person so it would make sense for him to listen to dutch. he also wasn’t in dutch’s inner circle unlike john and arthur, he would have little idea what dutch’s mental health state was or is now.

beaver hollow was suffocating. wasn't as open. toxic environment. i really hated this camp

It seems so out of character for Javier to become like that all of sudden. Unless i missed something... So easy to miss little hints during camp time.

I added this video to my watch later list way before anything went south with the gang and was quite curious because so far Javier was really nice. Now I'm in the epilogue and it all makes sense :')

So, does this confirm Javier was the second rat? I don’t see any reason these two would be so keen on openly keeping secrets from Morgan unless they were discussing something urgent. Considering you’re at Beaver hollow, I feel like it’s not a coincidence

I lost all respect for him when he came up to Arthur being like "you're breaking Dutch's heart ya kno" while Arthur was out there DYING, coughing his lungs out and Dutch was being a jerk, crazy delulu AND moron and still, everyone was blaming Arthur for everything. And to say we had Javier's wanted poster this whole time, shoulda ratted him out to the authorities 😂

I have a theory that Micah wasn't just the rat, even at the end. When they returned from Guarma Molly was interrogated, but said nothing, Micah was then caught and in order to get out of the situation (probably being surrounded by Pinkertons) alive, gave some information away (I'm not sure what), however, he stopped there. Abigail continued since the beginning of chapter 3 to rat out the gang, including in chapter 6, leading to the demise of the gang, and ultimately her, John and Jack's survival. I had this idea because why would Micah "reckon there's a rat" and speak about it to Dutch if he was THE rat, so I think he found out somehow the pinkertons had info he didn't give them and so concluded there was someone else ratting on the gang, then he used this to also try to find out with Dutch who the other traitor was and be able to put all the blame (despite him giving out some info too) on the other rat (who like I said I believe was Abigail). Now I know I didn't go into much detail, but this was more like brainstorming on some ideas and details I noticed; also sorry if it's a bit confusing.
